Title: Please all download this

Cat - April 1, 2009 01:08 PM (GMT)
Good Morning everyone. Please download Malwarebytes from this link. Keep itupdated like your regular anti virus program. There is a lot of stuff trying to come out on to your puter last few days, and it sounds like it is going to get worse. This program will help you to keep things working properly. Last night, my grandaughter got invaded by something called Spyware Alert 2009. Talk about smething anoying, boxes all over the place with big red exclamation points on them. This program took care of the problem quickly. It is a program, you all should have on your puter. It can save you a lot of headaches. Remember if it does happen to you, that once you have it out of your puter, you need to disable your system restore, and run it again, and then reboot your computer and make a new restore point for system restore. Good Luck and stay safe.

Edited to change link since others couldnt get the first one to work.

cooldude53 - April 1, 2009 03:09 PM (GMT)
Jane: this is a free program and it will remove stuff from your computer free. I have used it before. I uninstall it cause at the time I thought it was causing a conflict with my Spyware DR but it was not but I did not put it back on mycomputer but I will now.

Jane - April 2, 2009 12:53 AM (GMT)
This is what I get with thAT THING AND some one else I sent it to got the same thing

I installed it and was going to register, and it stated it was a free download, but to use the immenities you needed to register and pay $29.95, that the removal if anything was found was not free? You might want to uninstall?

All these are free trial versions of that program , I cant find anything free aboutit

cooldude53 - April 2, 2009 03:45 AM (GMT)
It is free and you do not registrar it and when you buy it mean it will run in the background and have automatic update but on the free one you have to do manual updates and it does not run in background.

That is the only difference between the free one and paid one.

It does remove stuff too on free one.

Jeanette - April 2, 2009 12:20 PM (GMT)
TERRY REMOVED 33 THINGS ON HER COMPUTER YESTERDAY WITH IT. FREE AND EASY TO USE. cool

Marlene - April 2, 2009 03:33 PM (GMT)
Jane, did you ever get the right link to get the free version?

Jane - April 2, 2009 03:52 PM (GMT)
Heck no I sure didnt 17.gif

Cat - April 2, 2009 06:13 PM (GMT)
Jane, the majorgeek link I posted has the free one. It is fully usuable, and you do not have to pay for it, unless you want it to run in the background all the time, and want the updates to be automatic. I never let anything run in the background, except my anti virus and firewall, so dont care about that, and I have everything set up to receive the updates manually. I guess a couple could be set to automatic now, since internet is faster, but with dial up, I never wanted anything to do anything unless I chose it too.

Jane - April 2, 2009 06:39 PM (GMT)
Ok I got the one from Major Geeks and it that sucker gives me a problem it is coming off to 17.gif 17.gif

Marlene - April 2, 2009 07:36 PM (GMT)
It doesn't give me a minutes problem. Like Cat said, it DOES NOT run in the background. It only runs when YOU run it. So, there is no way it can give you a problem. dance.gif

Jane - April 2, 2009 08:43 PM (GMT)
Ok that one worked but the one I got from the other site wonted money to remove what if found 17.gif 17.gif

Cat - April 2, 2009 09:20 PM (GMT)
Jane, did the other one look a bit different?? There are a couple rogue ones out there, that others have downloaded, thats why I always post a link to the correct one when I recommend it.

Marlene - April 2, 2009 09:26 PM (GMT)
If she will go to that major geeks link that you posted, Cat, and download from one of the Florida or Texas links (where you see the American flags), she will get the free one. dance.gif

Jane - April 2, 2009 09:28 PM (GMT)

Seems like a great little program it sure cleaned Cheryls computer along with Adaware anniversary edition got 60 something after I had deleted all the temp internet files and orefetch and malwarebytes found 47 more and removed them, and it really helped her computer a lot ,
Thanks for the right version :)

Cat - April 9, 2009 07:52 PM (GMT)
I figured you would really like it. Just make sure to update it regularly, so it will be updated, just in case you really need it, since some things wont let you update, if you get them on puter.

Jane - April 9, 2009 08:22 PM (GMT)
Cat you need to update the link on the first post with the one on the other post to Major geeks, That top link still dont work for me
