I havent tried this one but thought I would post it for those of you using AVG and need a firewall free to :D

I TOLD TERRY ABOUT THAT ONE, AS HER PORTS WERE CONSTANTLY BEING SCANNED . I WIL HAVE TO SEE IF SHE IS USING IT NOW. HOWEVER, SINCE SHE CHANGED ISP'S, I DON'T THINK SHE HAS HAD THAT PROBLEM. WHEN I WAS WITH EARTHLINK, IT WAS A CONSTANT PROBLEM FOR ME. ;)

BEING ON VISTA, I AM SATISFIED THAT MS HAS A GOOD FIREWALL AND DON'T NEED ANY OTHER. HOPEFULLY. AT LEAST THAT IS WHAT I READ.

I THINK WALLY IS STILL USING AVG. I TRIED TO GET HIM TO GO TO AVAST. WILL CHECK WITH HIM AND TELL HIM ABOUT THIS ONE. CAT ALSO SAID IT WAS GOOD. ;)

It is an excellent firewall. I have been using it for quite a long while now. I have heard their anti virus is excellent too, but I havent tried that myself.

Cat, you've had no trouble with it trying to block legitimate e-mails, downloads, etc?? I need a good firewall, but I would like one that lets "me" make the decisions. <_<
