I saw on TV where you can buy one hook it to the back of your computer and use your laptop on the internet anywhere and even at college from your home connection,

I saw it on TV yesterday and if that is a fact I will get me one and use it when I go some where for my laptop, And they are only 149 bucks and that is a heck of a lot cheaper than buying the cards for laptops at 50 bucks for 3 gbs for a month

Sounds like it might only be for tv on the laptop!!! Can any one else anser of it works for a computer ??

A local sports-talk radio station has Sling Box as one of its sponsors. The product is promoted as a television relay device to your cellphone. No mention of any computer use.

Mobile broadband.
Most common mobile carriers (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, now cable companies like Comcast too) offer 3G (and LTE/4G predep) connectivity via a USB modem to connect to their mobile towers. Pretty cool technology, though I wish it were less expensive. |

Alltell was pretty good at 45 a month unlimited but they jumped to 59 so I dropped them last year, Now they only have lile 1 1/2 -3-5 gb month for that price, It dont take long to use up 1 1/2 gbs even ig you get in a bind you can use that up pretty fast

I just heard a new Slingbox radio commercial. It said that if you hook up SB to your TV you can now watch your televison programming anywhere in the world via the Internet. That's all I can share. DA -------------------- "You need not be afraid of harm when a warrior stands between you and evil".
