Krebs’s 3 Basic Rules for Online Safety Brian Krebs of 'Krebs On Security' blog has 3 excellent rules that anyone would do well to follow religiously to keep safe online. Having been around the net for many years now, I've been following my own adaptation of these rules myself. One commenter made this comment: "Allowing one’s computer to be unprotected, while connected to the internet, can be compared to owning a handgun and putting it out on your doorstep every night, in case a passing robber might be in need of one." Heh, nice. -------------------- ![]() IDIOCRACY - The only movie that started out as a comedy and then became a documentary. |
