I was looking for a convertor to conver the movie ext vob to a regular mpeg and found out after downloading a program they wont money for that the vob is a cover up name for mpeg and all I have to do is rename that file ext to mpeg and go on about my business

They said it is a different name for mpeg for movies and lots of players dont reconize it

Hmm... I think the .vob extension is used primarily for subtitles to accompany compressed movies (either embedded or provided alongside the movie). If I'm right, then it's a container for text, rather than a standalone movie.
I'll look into it and post my findings. |

Changing the thing solved the problem on that one
and I havent run across another one liike it so I only had that problem one time, And I am glad of that. I like to take videos and save videos and use them in different ways , and some I wish I could download and cant , I can get any of them off you tube using a little program called sav-2-pc-light, It dont install just sits on the desltop untill you get rady to use it and another good one is avitompeg I can conver lots of avi, and different ext to mpeg with that one, I really like those little programs that are small and simple to use. some you can use on a flash drive cause they dont install , -------------------- Patience is the ability to idle your motor when you feel like stripping your gears.
