after it is installed on a computer??? The last pastor let his son stick p/ws in everything on the church computer, I am going to get that stupid program off there today if I have to edit it out of the registry !!!! It dont end untill Aug 8th but they have already charged 89 bucks to the credit card the Church has, So I told Brenda to call the credit card and rebuke the charges and I will remove that thing today and put avast on it,
That pastor passworded everything on that computer and the laptop, and they are both Dells ( I hate Dells any way but they got these and charged the church for them) any way they passworded Trend Micro and now they cant tell me what it is !!!!
But one way or the other it is coming off that machine today 17.gif 17.gif

Jane, try the last comment on this page. Sounds to me like it should work. http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/sear...=www.google.com

Also found this, you might want to read it first.

Pastor probably didnt password anything, probably that rotten kid if his. Sounds to me, like he needed a few butt slaps while he was growing up.

I got that thing off that computer, I edited the registry for over an hr and huge parts of it were still in there and something tied into that had messed up the internet drivers and couldnt get on the internet so I had to do a restore on the computer and I had downloaded a small program exe file this morning to a thumb drive named 32bit.exe so I pulled out the thumbdrive and ran that little jewell and it took all of it right out of there pass word and all dance.gif dance.gif
Then I rebooted and installed Avast and got it going and registered and I was finished with that headache for a year now dance.gif dance.gif
I can quit sweating over that one, So if any one has Trend Micro and wont it off your computer passworded or not, then download and run 32bit.exe and get er done dance.gif dance.gif dance.gif

click on the 32 bit for 32bit systens and the 64 bit for 64 bit systems

Think that his kid is just a smart a** and did it to be spiteful, knowing it would cause someone a problem eventually.

That was the church property and he shouldnt have been allowed to put any p/w on anything with out permission He did the same thing to the laptop that took me 2 days on the phone with Dell to get it straightened out . HP are so much better and easier to deal with than a stupid dell, I hate Dells because they are made so you have to get a teck on line on many of their craps to even fix them 17.gif 17.gif
