Have you ever tried fry bread???? It is delecious and make a great taco salad,. just fry the bread and add cooked ground beef with taco seasoning and lettuce tomatoe and hot Salsa with warm cheddar cheese or sour cream on top or both biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Ingredients
12 Bridgford White or Parkerhouse Rolls, thawed
OR
1 loaf Bridgford Frozen Bread Dough, thawed
Oil for deep-frying

Baking Instructions
If using loaf of dough, divide loaf into 16 equal slices. Let dough thaw and rise until puffy. Heat oil to 375°. Using floured hands, gently stretch each dough piece into a thin round of dough 4 inches in diameter. Fry dough rounds in hot oil, turning frequently until both sides are golden brown. Remove from oil and blot with paper towels. Serve warm with butter, honey or powdered sugar.

Jane that sure is faster than the way the Native Americans make it. Thanks for that. I love it but you have to mix tooo much for one or two people so I will try this and see what the reactions are.
