I still think trotski would have made a better leader. I think that Starlin shattered the soviet ideal, his tactics were painfully effective however we gave the soviet union a blighted name, nowerdays most people wont even think that communism could possibly work and even more people belive that (because of the way Stalin ran things) that communism is as bad as Hitler and his Nazi breed of fascist.

Stalin did to Communism what Hitler did to fascism, blighting the name for the reward of power, i believe if you look at what Communism is meant to be and what fascism is meant to be you'll find that neither leader was either. Heres a news flash, both Germany and Russia were the same kind of government, dictatorship. Russia became socialist after Stalins death and was only pure communist for a short time.
