Title: New Policy
dalawman - November 5, 2006 11:00 PM (GMT)
If you have a warn of 3 or higher, when you reach E1337 status you get a warn raise of 1. This is because E1337s must have more responsibility, and so they have less chance for error. If your warn level reachs 10, your E1337 status will be stripped and you warn level will go back down to 5.
If you have a warn of 2 or higher, when you reach Moderator status you get a warn raise of 2. This is because Moderators must have more responsibility, and so they have less chance for error. If your warn level reachs 10, your Moderator status will be stripped and you warn level will go back down to 5.
If your warn level reachs 10 when you are a member, you will be up for consideration of banning or other punnishments by the council.
Warns will now be removed after 6 months.
Self-warns, collectable warns, and joke-warns can be removed at any time.
Dwayne Roloson - November 5, 2006 11:04 PM (GMT)
You better pin this topic since it is very important, Dalaw. Or put it somewhere where all can see it.
And good new use of the council by making them decide if so and so shall be banned.
thegamer275 - November 5, 2006 11:07 PM (GMT)
So, now that I am an E1337, and I had a warn increase because of it, I have to wait 6 months for all of my warns to dissipate, right?
dalawman - November 5, 2006 11:08 PM (GMT)
Pinning post because I am too lazy to access the mod CP
The Ultramind12 - November 5, 2006 11:08 PM (GMT)
So, if I get E1337, I get another warn... sounds kinda lame.
dalawman - November 5, 2006 11:09 PM (GMT)
6 of your warns just dissapeared gamer, because they were all 6 months and a few days old.
thegamer275 - November 5, 2006 11:10 PM (GMT)
Only if you have a warn level above 3. Which I had...
Dwayne Roloson - November 5, 2006 11:10 PM (GMT)
Well, I actually think those are good ideas, since of the power they (Mods, E1337s) get.
Atomic Inferno - November 5, 2006 11:11 PM (GMT)
Six months? Half a year... kinda long, IMO.
The Ultramind12 - November 5, 2006 11:12 PM (GMT)
The only thing E1337s get is the ability to mod Spam-a-Lot... which isn't really all that big a deal.
Dwayne Roloson - November 5, 2006 11:13 PM (GMT)
But, TUM, E1337's get power that Member's don't outside of Spam-a-lot.
Which, I won't spoil.
The Ultramind12 - November 5, 2006 11:16 PM (GMT)
Like what... getting into the E1337 forum for the 1337 B14D3?
Dwayne Roloson - November 5, 2006 11:17 PM (GMT)
Well, yeah...
Also, other things. Remember, I can't really spoil everything.
thegamer275 - November 5, 2006 11:17 PM (GMT)
Exactly. I also think there is a bonus that you get if you have over 1,000 posts, but there is yet to be confirmation on that.
The Ultramind12 - November 5, 2006 11:19 PM (GMT)
I don't know about any of the other things. Not like I'd use any of them.
Only thing I look forward to is editting people's posts in the GP and Last Poster Wins topics >_>
thegamer275 - November 5, 2006 11:20 PM (GMT)
That would be abusing power.

TG, there isn't. I got over 1,000 in the past, and no extra was gotten.

Which would be bad...
Don't power-abuse.
The Ultramind12 - November 5, 2006 11:22 PM (GMT)
I know that.
I can screw with the Mod Abusing topic all I want, though, yes?
Dwayne Roloson - November 5, 2006 11:23 PM (GMT)
Well, sort of...
Just make sure that you don't edit out other people's posts.
thegamer275 - November 5, 2006 11:25 PM (GMT)
Dwayne Roloson - November 5, 2006 11:29 PM (GMT)
Oh, and another important rule here, TUM.
You may not edit other people's posts so that they are flaming somebody and such.
thegamer275 - November 5, 2006 11:30 PM (GMT)
Do n00bs apply to that rule?
Dwayne Roloson - November 5, 2006 11:31 PM (GMT)
Yes, even n00bs, TG. Even n00bs.
thegamer275 - November 5, 2006 11:37 PM (GMT)
But you can edit them to be pink and have a certain three poke-emoticons under the post, right?
Dwayne Roloson - November 5, 2006 11:38 PM (GMT)
Alright, I don't really know that much. Ask Dalaw, AI or M4S.
Atomic Inferno - November 5, 2006 11:44 PM (GMT)

I did that to Dragmace because he hates pink and Pokemon smilies. Unfortunately, this was AFTER he left.
thegamer275 - November 5, 2006 11:48 PM (GMT)
I just realized! It's obviously been 6 months since Dragmace was last warned, so all the warns have to be removed!
Storm - November 6, 2006 07:27 PM (GMT)
yeah but it's dragmace.
>_>
thegamer275 - November 6, 2006 08:35 PM (GMT)
The exception to the rule that warns are removed after 6 months does not apply to people who have 10+ warns. Correct?
Dwayne Roloson - November 6, 2006 11:46 PM (GMT)
Yeah, but our n00bs and trouble-makers bypass that rule, TG. Simple as that.
master4sword - November 7, 2006 12:30 AM (GMT)
Dwayne Roloson - November 7, 2006 12:58 AM (GMT)
Well, yeah, it is.
A season is probably a good length.
thegamer275 - November 7, 2006 02:32 AM (GMT)
Only half that amount of time...
pickle pickler - November 7, 2006 04:25 AM (GMT)
gah.
For those of you complaining about this, I have a simple solution.
JUST DON'T BREAK THE RULES. IT'S NOT HARD.
dalawman - November 7, 2006 04:57 AM (GMT)
And if you self-warn, you can take it down at anytime.
thegamer275 - November 7, 2006 07:00 PM (GMT)
Who would warn themselves? I've only known Imp to do it...
Dwayne Roloson - November 7, 2006 07:14 PM (GMT)
*points to Vhazon*
Yeah, my old main. This is when E1337's could warn, so I sort of took advantage and made myself 2 fake warns. Those would later disappear when my old main was starting to "dip into the bad side".
Also, why not 7 fake warns? Well, Lego gave me 5 warns before I even decided to do fake warns. All just because of NES. And still, I think he was harsh. 2 warns should have been enough.
Storm - November 7, 2006 10:32 PM (GMT)
wait a minute
>_> I don't understand. Clarification, are we just adding on x warns if its anything higher than x warns when you get the title?
Dwayne Roloson - November 7, 2006 11:00 PM (GMT)
Yeah, that seems like that is it.
