Funny story about that.
Long story short, Hobo seems to be taking NES too seriously, and it's uninspired me to update NES. I'm intending for it to be lighthearted and silly with few dark moments, and Hobo is pretty much going against that.
So now I have no motivation.

Yeah. Not that we're picking on you, Hobo, but you need to lighten up. NES shouldn't be THAT serious. It's less fun that way.

To clarify, I'd like the level of insanity in NES to be somewhere around that of IWI, meaning that such dialogue like the following would not only be acceptable, but (almost) encouraged:
Felix: HOLY SHIT WE'RE BEING ATTACK BY A GIANT DS RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!
Max: HOLY SHIT HE TALKED RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!
Andy: *watch beeps* Hey, Shiki!
Shiki: ... what.

Shiki: *uber facepalm*
However, it must still have some semblance of a plot, and you can't godmod, claiming that you're being insane, i.e.
