Collectables are a forum-wide game based on "collecting" virtual items.

Collectables can be hidden anywhere at TGB through a variety of means. Some are hidden obviously ("This is a sword" written in topic posts, topic titles, polls, or even signatures), while others are hidden more carefully (either by changing the color of the text to match the background or by requiring a puzzle to be solved to get the collectable), and sometimes they are hidden innovatively, so you never know where they'll be found! And sometimes they're not even hidden, thus requiring an entirely different method to acquire.

If you're the first person to find a hidden collectable, you can claim it. Claiming a collectable can usually be done by simply drawing attention to it and stating that you're claiming it.
