User Groups

-Banned

Break the rules, and go bye-bye. Banned accounts are completely locked out of TGB.

-Guest

Before September 17th, 2007, users who were not logged in could post as a guest. Guests had limited abilities; they could not edit posts while logged out, and they had limits as to which forums they could enter. Posts made by deleted accounts become guest posts. As of September 17th, guest posting was disabled.

-Validating

After you make an account and before you use the registration e-mail, you are validating. While validating, you cannot post anything, although you can edit your signature, avatar, and do a few other things. (Can you vote while validating? I forgot to check...)

-Alts

If you have multiple accounts, all but your main are alts. Alts cannot create or vote in polls. Alts have access to the Alt House.

-M4S Alts

Anyone found in this usergroup is an alt of Master4sword. He gets his own usergroup due to the fact that he is the Alt Lord of TGB. M4S alts can create polls, but cannot vote. M4S alts can access the Alt House.

-Members

Chances are, this is you. Members make up much of TGB's population. They are unable to enter any Staff Only forums.

-Dedicated Members

At 900 posts, you promote from Membership to Dedicated Membership. You gain access to a new forum, as well as the ability to close their own topics, edit their topic titles, and add events to the calendar.

-Moderators

Moderators are the users who are selected to assist the Admins in maintaining control. They have the power to punish rule-breakers, as well as access to the mod CP, allowing them to do things such as pin, close, and move topics. They have access to the Staff Lounge, as well almost every forum.

-Admin

Admins can control the site, and have the final say on everything. They can ban. They can access every forum.

-Root Admin

THE Admin. The main Admin, Drifting Swordsman (AKA Lego).



Usergroup that no longer exists:

-E1337s

E1337s are users who have been around for a while, and been very active. After posting 450 messages, users can purchase the E1337 Usergroup for themselves at Lego's Shop. E1337s can access almost all forums, including The Lounge, the E1337 forum. They can mod Spam-a-Lot. E1337s and higher are able to create and lead Clans, although anyone can join one.

A meta tag is an HTML tag that gives information about a document to search engines, and other stuff. Plus, you can redirect to other web sites using a type of meta tag.



About the user groups, I found one called DONT MESS WITH MY GROUP! What's up with that?

Manta made a group earlier, that was connected with something M4S said, and somebody must have changed it.

The essence of a bowstring is available for anyone who has traded a badge. The bowstring is not a special item.
