This is an anime that I am really addicted to, and think is pretty awesome.

The story begins with Ichigo Kurosaki, a 15-year-old boy who can see ghosts, recieving powers from a Soul Reaper (in Japanese, shinigami, which literally means 'death god'), Rukia Kuchiki, to fight off a hollow that has appeared to attack Ichigo. Hollows are the main antagonists in Bleach, which prey on the souls of human beings and shinigami alike (I just think shinigami sounds cooler, and I'll be using it throughout this mini-review, instead of the English dubbing). Rukia intended for Ichigo to recieve half her powers, but to her surprise, he takes almost all of them. Ichigo, as a shinigami, wields an oversized sword that reflects his tremendous spiritual power. The plot from that point involves Ichigo taking on Rukia's job as a shinigami, fighting off hollows and performing soul burials (konsos) on souls so that they can enter the Soul Society (a sort of heaven). Along the way, Ichigo's classmates Yasutora(sp?) "Chad" Sado, and Orihime Inoue, get involved.

but thats not important, bleach has a stupid name but the storyline and animation make up for it (especialy in the uncut dvd's) and the over happi chick (as blessed as she is) is not actualy happi, she has life issues but she dun show it (plus shes probli lesbo ((dun ban me fer that ill edit if need be)))

upon futher inspection it is actualy shinigami, which is the japanese "god of death" who use a so called "death-note" to increase there...unnatural life span

Bound Ark sucks as it was made as filler for the anime. Once you get finished with the Soul Society ark I reccomend you skip to Vizard/Arrancar ark.

Yeah, the only thing that's going to be worth watching is the third fight betweeen Ichigo and Grimmjow, and that's not coming for a few months. I think.

The Bleach anime is now in filler, which has failed to address how the characters got back into the real world. Can you say, ' BIG FUCKING PLOT HOLE'? The Bleach manga is now in an arc about the past. Hooray for character history revelations!

Actually, if you watched the Shinigami Illustrated Picture Book, you'd know that there ISN'T supposed to be an explanation for how they got back; they're running the filler to give the manga time to get back on track. I suppose the anime isn't going to run the Vizard's ranged weapon.

Also, really, the Vizard have been pretty useless thus far, except for Shinji kicking Grimmjow's ass for a few seconds and training Ichigo to control his inner hollow. I figured maybe they'd, you know, go into Hueco Mundo and kick some Arrancar ass?

No, they have to stay in the real world to help the useless shinigami (Come on, admit it. They're pretty much useless against Stark, Halibel, Barragan, Aizen, Tousen, and Ichimaru. Only Yamamoto would really stand a chance. I mean, come on! Aizen stopped Bankai Ichigo with his freaking FINGER. His FINGER.) fight the three vasto-lorde arrancar, their Fraccion, and the commanders.

The three vasto-lorde Arrancar? Espada 1, 2, and 3, or what?

Also judging by what we've seen of Yamamoto, he probably could have stormed Hueco Mundo and massacred all of the Arrancar himself, danced a merry dance on their graves, made a few jokes about it, and gone back to... umm... the Shinigami city a fucklot faster than Ichigo.

Yeah, Espadas 1, 2, and 3. All the others' ranks have been revealed. Ulquiorra's number 4, but he might also be a Vasto-lorde.

Also, isn't Vaizard Bankai Ichigo, like, the fastest character in the series? >_>

And yes... Vaizard Bankai Ichigo should, by all means, be the fastest character in the series by a LONG shot. But his flash-step speed advantage seems to have vanished since his fight with Byakuya... And I was saying Yamamoto would have killed all of the Arrancar a lot faster. >_>

Mostly because I don't pay much attention to the fanbases of animes, as they tend to be filled with phenomenal idiots.
