AMPHAROS MAN

Also still ugly 8-bit graphics ew. Could at least give us something shiny to look at while we're playing. Once is nostalgia, twice is laziness.

You don't even play Megaman cause you fail at platformers. Don't even start.

I don't fail at platformers that don't require romhack levels of precision platforming.

And bullshit like disappearing blocks in midair.

And I and ever other gamer reserves the right to complain about a game that is ugly in this day and age.

Because fun is entirely based on graphics, like we all know. I'm sure these are easier to make, and I'd rather they focus their effort on the quality of the game than the quality of pixel arrangements.

Yes yes I know quality of gameplay is more important than graphics. But that still doesn't excuse using 8-bit graphics in this day and age. It's called being fucking lazy.

EDIT: Hey. Hey Lego. I downloaded MM9.

Analysis: I do not like this game. At all. I've seen romhacks with less cheap kills. Like I Wanna Be The Guy. Not to mention the godawful music.

There is a difference between laziness and investing time elsewhere. Besides, if you don't like the excellence that is MM9, then how they make the graphics of MM10 shouldn't concern you. The older graphics are harkening back to an age where games were actually challenging, and despite what you say, Mega Man is challenging and not cheap (for the most part).

In Mega Man, you have ample time to react to any obstacle that comes your way. There are no spikes that come out of nowhere; you can see things coming from a while away. It is almost always obvious what hurts you, what kills you, and what you can stand on. Things may be difficult to dodge, yes, but that is difficulty, not being "cheap."

...why do I bother?

Huh. Ultramind is REALLY bad at videogames from before 1998. I'll keep that in mind.

No. You don't. Nobody has any right to bitch about graphics unless they impact gameplay negatively or are very painful to look at. There are very few games that actually do that to you. Graphics are fine to appreciate but you don't have any fucking right to complain about them being "bad". What do they hurt by being outdated?

Now I can understand ONLY somebody complaining about romhacks and bad palettes in them. Possibly an immeasurable amount of bloom obscuring everythi...

...Holy shit. Modern FPSs have bad graphics.

Also, I don't need to tell you just how bad any Megaman game that tried 3d graphics or gameplay ended up being. Awkward animation, bad control, issues with seeing and interpreting damage-dealing things, all issues caused by Megaman trying to be modernized.

So shut the fuck up.

There's a reason the trope's called "Nintendo Hard".

This... speaks for itself.

Yes it's an exaggeration, but I think there might, just MIGHT, be a slight difference between "too hard" and "too easy".
