Ok everyone, the idea is to do each unit in the Chaos Codex and hand over tips and hints about what works and doesn't. Eventually I will clean it up and we will have a complete tactica, but lets start from the top.
LORD *pssist, this is where you come in. I will add my view late, but I have to go now -------------------- Chaos Brethren, Tyranid Warrior, Dark Eldar Wytch, Ork Boy, renegade Space Marine, traitor Imperial Guard, Radical Inquisitor, Xenos scum and general badass.

He's the big ugly one, right?
Why do people make such expensive Lord models? Most Chaos armies, other than those that use traitors or cultists, have very few models and are easily felled by numbers. Often, the HQ IC is left hanging solo and will make a very tempting target. Is this done purposefully? It usually does not end well for the Lord. Are Lords given the sideline in your armies, kinda like nothing more than a scapegoat/vessel for a Greater Daemon? -------------------- |

Personally, I use a moderately priced Lt and put him in a Rhino bourne CC unit. No target, no losing points, bt HUGE impact.

Lords are nice, and can be customised alot. It'll probably be the most unique unit in a chaos army. The biggest draw of a Lord is that they can be buffed up to stupid levels of power and cheese. But that's putting all your eggs in one basket, and most people will hate you for it. The idea of giving your Lord (or Daemon Prince in this case) so much wargear and gifts that he's more powerful then a Greater Daemon and costs 600 points is frowned upon by alot of people. Especially the "6 Minor power guranteed siren" prince.

I played against one of those, they suck!
It's total cheese, if people can only win with their HQ's. Warhammer is about fighting with your entire army. -------------------- |
