This will be my flesh tearers beastly fleet.

4- battle barges
12- strike cruisers
20-40 thunderhawks.

Never played before though! laugh.gif

It will probably cost me over 200$ though....

O_o;;

You're insane LM...
I envy you smile.gif

It'll look like a great army on the field once you have it up and running though!

I have myself:

4 Chaos Cruisers (one is actually painted (almost))
4 Imperial Cruisers (not sure on the colour scheme yet...)

Cheers,
Lawrence.

I only played a sample game in San Fransisco, and got dominated. But it was fun. And I kinda got it down.
Nice fleet.

It's funny how things work out,
The ones we need don't know we're there,
If I were sand and you were oceans,
the moon would be why your pulled to me.

ive thought about playing BFG but there are two things that are bouthering me:

1. do i really wan to start another game type when i might start playing warhammer fanatsy anyway? (i would be playing lizardmen for those that do play/ know about warhammer fantasy)

2. and the hobby store that i go to dosen't even have tournaments for BFG, let alone even sell it! (although i could always buy off the internet but the part of finding someone else to play would ruin it sad.gif )

Getting the BFG Starter set is, in my opinion, my most intelligent GW Purchase.

Since I have a 6x4 area in my basement as it is, it comes with enough terrain, and models for you and a friend to play with.

Everything you need (and more) is in that box!

I think it's also one of the most solid rule sets Games Workshop has ever made (aside from Epic, Fantasy a far third and 40k a distant cry)

I suggest getting it if you, for some reason, have a surplus of cash.

BFG rules!

Cheers,
Lawrence.

++EDIT++ a 1000pt Fleet is FAR cheaper than a 1000pt Fantasy army too!

$80CDN bought me 2 fleets (box set) whereas it took me $220CDN for a single 1000pt skaven army.
