Introduction: K'Tarl was the Elder of the Masaki Tribe, they lived in the wastes of Pech's largest desert and had done for over one thousand years. The Tau had made frequent attempts to conscript them but they had none of it. One day a harsh drought came and the Elder of the time, K'Tarl, with great reluctance finally cowed to the Tau Empire, his only other choice being extinction for the entire tribe.
