Uh, no. The old league structure allowed league trolls to play multiple games. So, even if they lost or tied, those players amassed a massive amounts of points...which seemed lopsided to me. If a player can only come in a few days a week, play at most 2 games per visit and win both of those games, he was still behind in the standings.

So, maybe I should rephrase the sentence to: victory by volume, versus, victory by wins.

Nike: 1) Does this clear things up? 2) Did you win that match?

He/she who plays the most and accrues the most points wins, rather than he/she who wins the most single week games (such as the prior league). My statement to you was based on victory by finesse rather than volume as, in a league that rewards most-played-games-for the win, during one of those most-played games there was a qualitative victory.
