This idea is kinda out there and experimental, it also not very time resource friendly. But it seems fun. This weekend I found Wink... wink is a screen capture application that runs in linux and capture what goes on on your link desktop.

You can show the configuration of your Knotix, show the visuals of what you mean when you configure your app and finally render it as a swf from your site or make it downlable.

The only drawback is that you can't associate aduio with this making it a little bit querky. All in all I think it's worth a try.
