New Linux User - Podcast

I like the new Linux user site Jon. Very simple to understand and interesting. Its nice to not have my brain taxed too heavily. Keep up the work. Hopefully it will act as an ideas engine for the podcast and will keep it up to its slick professional and informative style. Ok I don't creep often but I do need to compliment your podcast. I've checked a few out and there are some terrible ones out there. Anyway, keep up the good work and I’ll listen out for the next one. Cheers. Oh – any big names in the pipeline for interviews?

Thanks for the kind words. We try to keep the show interesting and the quality relatively high. Seems to be paying off a bit.

The New Linux User blog is a lot of fun as well. It does serve as a catalyst for the show sometimes, especially because the search engine referers can really tell us what people are looking for.

No big interviews coming up, but that could change really quick!

So, I presume you'd rather receive comments on the blog than here. I always find thepodcastnetwork site very slow. I suppose there is some heavy traffic there but the new Linux user site is like a rocket. Looking forward to the adopted penguin pictures.

Well, comments on particular shows are best put into the comments section of that show. That way people who come to listen to the show later on can see all the comments and corrections that may have been posted.

If a comment is a correction, I usually also post it here in the 'Correct Jon' forum, or users are more than welcome to post directly there themselves.

Funny you should mention the site speed...I'm about to make a post in the Show Announcements Forum about just that...
