WHAT IS THE MISFIT PRIDE?

ANSWER! The Misfit Lion Pride started as a single Lion, Aurora Sankofa, was left in the wild after being taken care of by humans since a cub. She never learned to hunt for food, make shelter, and socialize with wild Lions. Poor Aurora spent her days wandering, in search of some pride to take her in, and yet, she failed. Until one fateful hot african day, she bumped in to another Lioness who was also falling down the path of a Dieing Lonely Lioness. These two, found strength in each other, and continued, together, to find food and start a life. Once they found Adwin-Badru, all was clear. Adwin-Badru could hunt for food, tell them the unknowns, and teach them how to be a pride. With the beginning of this small pride, who else will they meet in the african plains? Now this misfit Pride, roams Africa, looking for their own territory, and picking up Loner Cubs, Lionesses and Lions; No matter their attitude, stature, shape, color, background, age, or deformalities.

WHAT DO I NEED TO JOIN?

ANSWER! To either make up a Lion character from scratch (highly recommended) or if you currently have a Lion / Lion hybrid character who is certainly unique and needs a pride, feel free to roar for my attention!

Requirements:
~A Lion who lives in AFRICA IN CURRENT DAY
~A Name with a Meaning. [Ex. Aurora "Dawn"]
~If a "Made from scratch" Lion, a Symbol on its body
~Unique Traits that make Him/Her stand out from everyday Lions. [Ex. Fur Colors, Deformalities, Special Abilities, etc]
~A Background story of either their Troubled Past or Why they were not accepted by normal Prides.
~A Ref Sheet (Made By Kiyoshi or Yourself)



HOW DO I JOIN?

1. Send one of the admins a note asking to Join & tell us whether you are entering an Original OLD Character [Explain this character to me & present a link for Reference Picture] or making a New One from scratch.
2. Give the Pride time to discuss about accepting.
3. Tell Your Friends about us!



RULES!

Kiyo and Banzai are still the game masters.


1. The GM [Game Master] is always right.

2. If you have any questions about this, see Rule #1.

3.We do not use authority to our advantage in anyway. We do what we need to do to keep the Pride up and running.

4. If you insult any of the other members (including alpha's) ic or ooc you will be faced with consequences. (this is on a personal level. Characters insulting one another is ok to a degree, please keep it to being between pride member against enemy, not member on member unless its jokingly )

5. When something comes to our attention, the Alpha's will discuss the problems, and sometimes will consult the council (Rooks and Bishops) on their opinions.

6. Anything said between a member and an admin of the group will NOT be openly discussed (like posting it in a journal, holding a poll, or through a deviation) and if it is, this will result in consequences.

7. Anyone who over steps their boundaries will be given a Warning first, A second time will result in their character's rank being dropped to 'Rogue' Status, and a third will result in being Banned.

8. When you ask to join and are accepted in to this Pride, you agree to following these rules. When you are in the Pride, you have entered my world. When you come in to my world, you follow my rules. This is just like playing D&D or A Video Game. You play the Video Game, you follow the rules, and limits.




POSTING ETTIQUETTE:

1. You MUST be a member of the Misfit Pride on DeviantArt to be able to post in this forum. Any non members will be asked to join before they further RP their character. We ask that you wait until your request to join is CONFIRMED before RPing.

2. You may not RP another person's character without their permission.
Plus in the interest of politeness, please do not do things like speak for another persons character frequently in your posts. You should allow them to answer your character's words in their own way, even if their answer may not be exactly what you were wnating, thats what keeps it interesting. However OCCASSIONAL steering of the plot for a reason is accepted, and if you want a certain response, you should ooc: (out of character) ask the other person to follow that line, im sure they probably wont mind. ^^

3. Anyone who breaks the misfit club rules listed above in the RP arena will face the forementioned consequences. (one warning, one rank drop, then banning)

4. Anyone who continually and deliberately flaunts posting etiquette will be delt the same penalties.

KEEP IT PG 13 RULES!


1. Affection such as kissing, hugging, cuddling, licking, nuzzling, and things of that nature, will be allowed on the forum to be displayed in public rooms.

2. Sexual Affection such as "pawing off", humping, dirty talk, and anything remotely close to that is NOT permitted in any rooms. If you would like to rp this out, please take it to a Private Message.

3. Rape is a serious and terrible thing in life, but it doesn't have to be brought here. If rape is to occur, both members are to agree to it before hand. Rape is not permitted in any rooms, and only allowed in a Private Message.

4. Most of us come here to get away from the real world, and escape to our safe Misfit Pride world. Don't ruin it for others, do not push sexual acts on any member unless its completely mutual.



CONSEQUENCES FOR BREAKING THE ABOVE RULES:

1. If said Affection [ stated in above #1 ] gets carried away, there will be warnings handed to each member who was involved. No "and", "if", or "but".

2. If anything stated or closely relating to above #2 and #3 is brought in to a public room or brought public, will have their posts deleted ASAP and member will be given a warning. If they do it again, the characters involved will have their ranks stripped to "Rogue Status". If member proceeds, they will be banned from the club and they will no longer be a part of the Misfit Pride.

3. If anyone has a problem with above [ #4 ] and break the rule, they will automatically be BANNED from the Misfit Pride. Anyone who tries to defend or flame will suffer the same consequences.
