Getting a better rank is tricky, you have to work at what you want.

Listed lowest to highest (1 being the Highest)

Lion Pride Ranks

1 Alpha - Of course the Highest of Ranks. The Alpha's have to be strong Mentally, Physically, and Spiritually. Someone who is willing to lead and be sensible about things. They have the hardest job of picking out the bad traits and trying to make the Pride a Strong one.

2 Rook - Lives at one of the 4 directional Marks, and acts as the position of authority there. They make sure everything is in order, and take news about the mark and bring it to Aurora and Adwin.

3 Bishop - Under the Rook, they make sure everything is in order, and take news about the mark and bring it to Aurora and Adwin. Like, cubs being born, how well the food supply is, any cubs being trained to become hunters, any hyenas or wild dogs in the territory. Or if anyone has had any attacks on the mark or anything bad is happening.

4 Knight - One lives at each of the marks, highest authority, under alphas, rooks and bishops.They make sure the pride is moving smoothly. And do many of the little but important jobs that can't be done by busy Alphas Rooks & Bishops.

5 Beta - The Under Authority, someone who is amongst the Lions at all times and keeping a close eye on anything that might need to be brought to the Alpha's attention.

6 Alpha's Protector - A high honor of Trust and stature. Someone who is physically strong, and very Brave. Willing to do anything for the Alpha.

7 Hunter - The most common job among the Lions and Lionesses. The strongest, fastest, Lions are sent out to work together as a killing machine. They are depended on to bring back kills for the whole Pride.

8 Cub Watcher - Usually a High Honor, Lionesses with patience and usually either too young to hunt or too old to keep up. They stay with the cubs when the Pride goes out for food.

9 Nurturer - These Lions are best at Healing the sick, dealing with infants, over all our "Doctors"

10 Story Teller - Someone wise and patient who is used to bring peace to our Lions and to help our cubs grow not only physically strong but mentally and spiritually.

11 Breeding - In desperate times these Males or Females have the best traits for strong cubs.

12 Protector - In times of War or Battle, these Lions are sent out to elimanate the threat at all costs.

13 Messenger - Someone who is a fast runner and knows their way around the Land. They are depended on to send messages back and forth between Prides or Lions.

14 Look-out - Someone who is constantly walking about the dens, keeping an eye out in the distance for any threats, which most of the time are rogue Lions or Hyenas.

15 Guard - When a New Lion is allowed in to the pride, the Guards must watch them closely for a few weeks, making sure if they turn they don't hurt any of the Pride members.

16 Recruiter - This Lion is takes time to go off in to uncharted area and look for Rogue Lions who are by themselves, hurt, odd looking, or dieing. This Lion is able to think on their paws fast and get away if the situation turns bad.

17 Tracker - When a pest becomes a threat and needs to be taken care of, the Trackers are sent out to find them. They are skilled in tracking down scents and finding the criminal.

18 Spy - When a Pride gets too close or Hyenas are too suspicious, the spy is sent out to find out as much information as possible, when the Spy returns, the information goes straight to the Alpha, who then decides to send out the Trackers and Protectors to eliminate the threat or not.

19 Scout - A scout is like it sounds. A few Lions who walk the border of he Misfit Pride's Territory, making sure that other Lions get the hint that we're there and chase off any Hyena's that get too close.

20 Pride Member (No rank) - These lions are usually new and have no real rank, whether it's because they could care less, too young, still looking for purpose, or like being a general helper for the pride. Some of these lions live at a mark, others wander between marks.



*21 Rogue - This lion is not a part of the pride and has a tough time sticking around. A rogue is usually not trusted by the pride, until they know he/shes not a threat. For, a rogue could be a dangerous threat, or just a good natured lion who's a loner by nature.



How do I get my Character to have a Higher Rank?
First and foremost your characters got to be a part of the pride, other wise it will always stay as a Rogue. Once it's in the pride it's automatically at least a pride Member.
Any member seeking higher ranks for their character will have to PM an admin, telling them which position for which character, why, and why your character would be good for the position in question.

Hyena Clan Ranks

1 Alpha Female - The Highest of Rank

2 Alpha Male - Right below the female

3 Hunter - They are depended on to bring back meals for the whole clan.

4 Pup Watcher - Hyenas with patience and usually either too young to hunt or too old to keep up.

5 Healer - These hyenas heal the sick

6 Scout - Hyenas who walk the boarder of their territory, and refresh sent markers to let strangers know their not wanted.

7 Clan Member (No rank) - These hyenas are usually new and have no real rank, whether it's because they could care less, too young, still looking for purpose, or like being a general helper for the clan.


*8 Rogue - This heyna is not a part of the clan and has a tough time sticking around. A rogue is usually not trusted by the clan, until they know he/shes not a threat. For, a rogue could be a dangerous threat, or just a good natured hyena who's a loner by nature.
