As the final blow was struck to the Lizard, Rudo's body stirred and his eyes weakly opened, peering upwards into the darkness around them. It was silent... Still... Peaceful. He exhaled as his body went limp again, though he winced as he felt his breath leave his lungs. He didn't even realize what his body had been put through, seeing as it wasn't really HIM throughout the battling. "Urrgh... Wha?" He questioned to no one in particular as he tried to bring his body to his stomach so he could hopefully bring himself to his four... Though it probably wasn't going to work.

Groaning he clutched his jaw together tightly and winced. His body trembled as pain rushed through him and his claws extended, gripping onto the ground. What had he been through while he was out?! In some ways... He felt a shadow in the back of his mind, almost a cold and whispering sense, but he didn't know where it had come from. "Urrgh.. My head." He moaned as he let his body go limp once again, just not having the strength in him.

Mystic didn't wait for Tanith's answer as her attention was returned to Rudo as he tried to stir, "Hush," she whispered to him, "Don't try to move," her paw still glowing as she hovered it back and forth over his body, "lest not yet..."

Atlas sighed at Shae's quietness, it wasn't unreasonable though, she,...they had all been through a lot and had more then enough to occupy their minds...
He lifted his arm to check his band, it was dimly glowing orange, and one could piece together that it was still on low energy for a while as he put his paw down.
His eyes moved to Rudo, Tanith and Mystic... and watched Mystic working. Waiting for her to come over to Twi and Arvorre, while his mind swam in his own thoughts.

Tanith didn't hear Mystic at first. The blood from the lizard dripped down her slightly open mouth and her breathing was fierce, exhausted, and drained. Slowly she regained her surroundings and felt her body slowly return to fur; her tail lost all its power and control and returned to its almost lifeless self.

Suddenly all the open cuts on her body because ten times more painful. She growled and clenched her teeth together as the fiery pain ran up and down her body. After a moment, she collapsed and closed her eyes, almost willing away the pain. Almost immediately, her eyes flew open and she looked wildly around.

"Atlas... where's Atlas... is he alright?" she asked, forcing herself into a standing position. She then noticed that Mystic was back to normal. "Oh Mystic... are you alrght?" she asked, limping over. She then noticed Rudo and her mind swirled as it noticed all those in pain.

"Oh Rudo... I fear you had the worst of it...," she said placing her nose on his cheek lightly. Once more she collapsed under the pain and fatigue.

Rudo's eyes stayed sqeezed tight as he heard the different voices around him. He knew who they were, but his mind was so bustling with all these different thoughts that he couldn't actually make out what they were saying. His muscles tensioned, contracting and relaxing in different areas, causing his body to tremble uncontrollably.

"W..What happened...?" He questioned weakly, his eyes lifting up towards Mystic as he gripped on tightly to the ground.

Mystic fumbled between the two of them, it was exhausting work, healing...and after what she had been through herself didn't make it much easier. She sighed tiredly, now working on Tanith, going back and forth between the two of them to get them physically in a stable condition.
Mystic smiled weakly down at her as energy flowed through her own paws to aid Taniths body, "Atlas is fine..." her fatigue was quite visible through her voice, but it had a warm and caring vibe about it too. She blinked as Tanith questioned about her, but when Rudo inquired about the whole ordeal her face relaxed again, "I'm fine, I'm fine, hush now...the both of you, we will talk later."
There were many minutes of silence then as she worked, after that time she finally stepped back, exhaling in a tired fashion, and then looked to them her eyes weary, "I shall be right back, give yourself's a moment before you test anything," she said the last part a bit sternly, but more of a motherly kindness then anything else. Then she added, "I must check on the others, you should still feel battered up, but at the very least and with a little luck, I've mended you both up enough for you all to make it out of here on your own four paws..."
With that she left them and walked over to the others, now working quietly on Twi and Arvorre to awaken them.



( Oh dang... |: What are we gonna do about those two? I noted her on DA about this, but I have yet to hear a reply.... )

Tanith sighed with relief upon hearing that Atlas was alright... and that Rudo could speak.

"Thank you, Mystic, for all of your help," she said, her voice soft as she watched her work. Her body felt a fraction better but it still did not feel right. She winced as she moved herself into a sitting position and searched for Atlas. She vaguely remembered seeing him when she emerged from Rudo's mind. She spotted him and looked at him a moment before looking away. He seemed alright, and that little fact made her happy enough.

Golden eyes peered once more at Rudo before they closed and she went into a little calming trance-like state.

Rudo winced some, but he felt his pain begin to subside, that brought a great relief, however, he still was confused and at a loss for what was going on around him... What had happened? He didn't even remember being posessed... There were bits of memory, but they were scattered and he couldn't make any sense of it.

He sighed heavily and let his body go limp, he rested his chin down on the ground and let his eyes roll closed... It was all so confusing. "Oh..." He spoke softly, hardly even aware of still what was going on around him. He didn't even realize that Tanith was mere inches from where he lay. Groaning some, he let his head fall to the side, trying to let his strength return.

(I guess someones ganna have to carry them out mystic lol thought shae is out of here XD i think shes had enough and this thread is hard to keep track of lol XD)

Shae didnt know what to do, just like during the battle she really had nothing she could do but stand there and look confused, she didnt want to be down here any longer

"i.. i'm going back up... maybe theres someone who can help..."

she didnt wait for a reply but turned around and looked at the tunels of water Atlas mentioned, she didnt give herself time to think about the water and just jumped in...


by the time she made it back to the inside of the tree she was almost dry but more tired then ever, simply being back on the surface made her relaxe and she found a spot in the tree, laid down and quickly fell asleep

(yeh dont think shes really going to be able to find help right now XD)

When Mystic's work was finished, eyes opened slowly to see multiple battered lions and a very unpleasant scene. "What... happened?" he asked, slowly getting his gray body up from the dirt. A pain ran through his head and he groaned. He noticed a few bloody lions and Mystic standing there helping all she could. "What happened?" he repeated, not entirely sure what he was hoping for.

Tanith stretched her aching body and was happy that she was now furry again. The scales hadn't bothered her, but they made her worried and nervous. Her golden eyes scanned the area until she found Atlas, who was still next to Twi and Arvorre. She slowly walked over, still feeling pain in her body, but it was lessened thanks to Mystic. "How are you?" she asked, wincing slightly as she sat down.

Mystic sighed a little in relief as Twilight awoke, and Arvorre soon after.
Arvorre picked her head up slowly, "Oh..my head." she blinked in pain.
Mystic looked to the both of them, "Now, be careful, my healing isn't the best, but you should be feeling well enough to stand and walk out of here in a bit." Then she turned to Twi, "Just wait till we have the whole group together and on their feet, I'm sure we all have some questions that need answering." She said softly. And with that she walked over back to Rudo, to help him get over so they could all regroup.


Atlas looked almost shocked at Shae's abrupt leave...and actually wondered if she was going to go get help by the way she acted...she did seem to be the kind of lion to do so, but she seemed so rattled too. But he didn't have to much time to dwell, as Tanith made her way over at that moment. "Oh uh," he mumbled just noticing her as she spoke, moving his gaze from where Shae left, to Tanith, "Mm, I should ask you the same question...did you know what happened to you?"

It wasn't quite the response Twilight had been expecting, but he supposed it was tolerable. With a nod, he looked at all the lions around him. He knew almost none of them, but he recognized them from earlier in the expedition.

Tanith shook her head. "No... I don't," she admitted, wishing she had known. If she had, she'd be able to do it again, even though it drained her energy profusely. "It was helpful though... and could have something to do with my namesake," she added, smiling a bit sheepishly. She groaned painfully as she shifted her weight and the cuts threatened to reopen.
