Divine Intervention, Read

I never gave much thought to religion, it always seemed like a load of crap. In example, that if you pray to an invisible being all the sins you ever committed which could vary from petty theft to rape would be forgiven. Sounds like crap when put in that perspective, doesn't it?

Well, I always thought that till yesterday.

I was in the car with my boyfriend of almost 6 months, Ryan, and we were leaving the California Roll(a sushi restaurant). We were about to pull out onto a main street when i got this weird feeling, like i was being hugged. I closed my eyes, and though you may not believe it, I saw my entire life in a single moment. The next thing i knew we were on the side of the road, his windows were shattered and he was asking if i was ok. It wasn't until i got outside and saw his car that i realised we could have very much died. And somehow, no one got seriously hurt.

I was rushed to the ER cause I have acid reflux and i got knocked in the ribs. But I earnestly believe there is someone up there looking out for me. Whether it be god or karma, I have seen the light.


Has anyone else had a Divine Intervention, you know, kinda like the one Jules had in Pulp Fiction?

And pretty much what I needed. My hold on being religious has been slipping as of late, but your explanation of your experience is pretty deep.

I've never thought of something like that happening before, it must have been...a surreal experience, to put it lightly. Whether it was God or something else entirely, I'm glad neither of you were seriously hurt!
