Hi all
We (GW US) became aware of this issue on Tuesday following the event. We investigated further and discovered that four entries were submitted by the same person, all models were purchased, not self-painted.
One of these entries did win a Golden Demon. The individual in question has been contacted regarding this issue and the Golden Demon will be returned to us.
At future Games Days we'll be adding a "signature list" at Golden Demon Registration officially declaring that the models you are entering were painted by you. Hopefully this will help eliminate future instances of this type of thing.
We (GW) do take this kind of thing very seriously and we look to our community to alert us to these kinds of attempts. A big Thank You to those folks who let us know as soon as they realized.
Thanks Dave Taylor GW US Promotions Coordinator
PS. Jeff Hall is taking a well earned break and preparing for another fantastic Games Day in LA (April 8).
