Return From The Spring

Kiyoshi walked peacefully through the forest as she reached the exit. "Home sweet home." She sighed as she now started to run to her tiny village.

"Welcome back master Kiyoshi!" A little girl around 8 or 9 greeted as she now walked through the village.

"Hello little Kiy, how is your mother doing?" Kiyoshi asked kneeling down on one knee.

"She is fine, mama is up and running now!" Kiy grinned hugging Kiyoshi's leg.

"That's good to hear, I must be off though there is lots of work that is needed to be done." With that Kiyoshi left tiny Kiy to go off and play.

Hino were walking without any particular goal in mind as she reached the outskirts of a village. Curiously she began walking towards it. There was something about the speciaes called humans that intrigued her and when she wanted to disguse herself as one of them, no one had ever found out she was a demon without her wanting them to. They just seemed to miss the fact that she had 3 stripes in her face by some, mysteriously unexplainable reason.

As she was walking through the village she noticed a green haired cat demon talking with some of the villagers.

'A demon, here? Among humans... and acting friendly with them... how intriguing' she thought.

Kiyoshi was once again was stopped by another child.

"Master Kiyoshi welcome home!" A boy greated her as she walked by.

"Thank you for such a warm welcome." Kiyoshi smiled down at the young boy.
"My you have grown, you are gonna be taller than me one day." She added with a smirk.

Giving a slight blush the boy hugged her leg. "Yes but, never as stronge as you!" He grinned still keeping a tight hold of Kiyoshi's leg.
Kiyoshi smiled and kneeled down wrapping her arms around the tiny boys body. "There, a hug for you, now run along there is much work to be done." She said as she stood herself up, getting out of the boys grasp.

"Yes, of course Master Kiyoshi!" He saluted and ran off.

Hino stood watching the scene with the young boy, amused by the friendlyness that emitted from this demoness, such a show were rarely shown in this world where demons and humns usually hated nd loathed each other.

In the end she decided to encounter this demon, in human disguise of course, if this demon were indeed a protector of the village as she suspected, she wouldn't take lightly on having another demon in it.

She stepped forward to greet the demoness.

"Excuse me" she said, putting up a confused expression "but are you demon?"

Turning towards the lady who spoke, Kiyoshi looked at the person suspiciously for a moment, but than gave her a ear to ear smile. "Well, I am pretty sure I am." She replies pointing to her cat ears and tail. "But nothing to be scared of m'dear, are you lost or do you need a place to stay?" Kiyoshi asked looking at some of the villagers who were giving stares. With a quick motion for them to get back to work, she turned her attention back at the girl.

Smiling pleasantly, Hino waved a hand disarmingly in front of her face.

"On no I'm not lost or anything, I am merely passing by and couldn't help but wonder what a demon are doing in a village..." she trailed off a little before putting up a semi-frightened expression and adding "not that there's something wrong about that, it's just not a... very normal sight..."

"Oh, well these people are like my children. I raised them all, even the oldest ones you could find in this here place." Kiyoshi smiled wavey to some elders who passed by. "Names Kiyoshi, the Master of this here village. Now will you be staying for a bit, maybe take a bath in our springs or..." She said stopping herself so the girl could respond.

Having confirmed her suspicions, Hino smiled brightly taking one step closer to this very intriguing and , dare she say, pretty demon.

"I had planned to be on my way soon, actually" she began "but this seems like a very nice place to stay overnight... I might do just that" she finished watching the other demon closely.

"Perfect!" She grinnged grabbing her arm and pulling her away from the village. "But I must say, you have to have a bath first. Your stench could kill a fleat of demons." She smiled and kept on pulling the girl. "What is your name?"

Hino grinned inwardly, in truth she hadn't been able to have a long good soak in what seemed like ages to her, besides, it could be fun, very fun.

"Hino" she replied as Kiyoshi dragged her along to the hot springs.

As Kiyoshi pulled Hino to the springs she smelt the dog demon who once was here. "Damn dog soiled my spring.." She muttered still pulling Hino.

"Here we are!" She grinned finaly letting go of Hino. "It's is the best spring you could think of, and It belongs to me and the villagers."

Ignoring the last comment she asked "dog?" intent about finding out more about this unusual demon.

"Just some dog demon, worthless mutts they are.." Kiyoshi growled thinking about it, but shook it off with a shake of the head. "Ah, she will not be returning any time soon.." Kiyoshi added with a evil smirk. " 'Cause if she does, it's her death."

"Worthless mutts, eh?" Hino replyed quietly and a bit reserved. True, dog demons could be a pin in the ass, but she was closer to one particular than anyone other had ever been and she wasn't pleased that Kiyoshi judged them all just like that. However, she let it go... after all cat demons and dog demons were like cats and dogs... literally.

"Yes worthless, if I could, I'd..I'd kill them all with my bare hands.." Kiyoshi growled sticking her feet into the spring. "Come'on, they are useless. So many things you could list about just one dog demon." Swishing her feet into the water she thought about the wolf tribe for a moment. *Now, them not so bad..But still dirty mutts like the rest of them* She though.
