Name: Kodiak
Age: 2 years
Gender: Male
Species: Malamute
Owned? No, his owner needed the trade badly and Kodiak was the only valuable thing that he had left. Very soon, Kodiak's owner shipped him off to another owner. Kodiak was treated kindly with his newer owner, but when he passed away due to heart failure, his owner's butler let roam away free.
Personality: Generally, Kodiak is a laid-back, non-tempramental and gentle guy. He never really gets mad unless the situation is truly pressing and you really ruffle his feathers, then he'll lash out. That's when his bite is way worse than his bark. Otherwise, he is a kind soul who is willing to help someone else out and, like all working dogs, run.
A New Sample Post: "Daddy please, don't take him away! I love him and he's my favorite!" a seven year old girl weeped. Tears streamed down her red face and she was down in the snow begging her father to reconsider. They had already sold their other dogs and Kodiak was the last one. They had no thing else that was valuable to sell. Only their prized swing dog was left.
"I'm sorry, hun, but if we don't, we will live in the streets. I don't want that for my daughter and wife." The man's daughter ran off and started to cry more. She took one last glance behind her shoulder to see the dog that she cared about so much be crated up. The little girl ducked under bunk bed and cried. She would never again see her dog.
Moments later, a truck pulled up into the driveway, and two men got out of the truck. They lifted the crate, and not a sound came out of it. Kodiak was sedated and sleepy. He didn't know where he was going nor that he was never coming back to his first home that he had become accustomed to.
He woke later, growling, but soon became adjusted because his easy-going temprament wouldn't allow him to bite the hand that fed him. He worked hard and earned his keep. Kodiak loved the wind in his fur. It was his job, his life, his passion.
