Fable (based On The Game)

Intrigued by what the figure was saying, he decided to sit down and delve further into what was being discussed.

"Eeyyy wait a minute...I know you. Yer that Jack everyones always talken bout. If yer here somtim reeeaal big mus be brewin. So what's the plan, you fellas thinken of crashin that little reunion they be havin? Because, you know, if that's what yer up to....Exodus here is just itchen to get some action.

Exodus sits down a pours himself a drink, wondering what is going through the head of the infamous Jack.

Jack's demonic eyes gazed at this man who called himself "Exodus." He was quite large, larger than Jack himself. He appeared to have no weapon, but Jack could tell from one sweeping glance that this man was stronger than he appeared... and he appeared quite strong to begin with.

"Yes, we are attacking the Guild during their Reunion tonight... and the more who join us, the merrier... but I do have just one question..." Jack's eyes bore into Exodus's. "Two, actually. One... why do you suddenly want to join us?? You have something against the Guild of Heroes?? Were you in their graduating class, or is it something similar to that?? Two... how did you get into my Force Field???"

"hmmm i assume he was in the guild a few years earlier than me, and if i remember im guessing he was here before you set up the field jack he was awalys known for wandering around drunk without being noticed heh heh ." Rumamaru said as he took a drink from his gourd. "anyways looks like tonite is gonna be dull. most of those pepole especially arrowdodger barely made it past graduation." he smirked " i say its only gonna be a so so slaughter fest at best." rumamaru looked at the window and thought. pity though i really thought it would be more entertaining than this.

"A bloody Barrier?" Exodus looked surprised "I guess it let me past...mighta sensed I was up there wit da best of um when it came to bein bad!" Exodus let out an absurdly emormous laugh, as if he had said the funniest joke in the world."I'm sure it'll keep those heroes out good and proper! Ah yes, and about the joining up wit ya fellas....I came here to get a drink, this is my usual tavern ya know. Seein all you guys here made me think about those retched heroes and the pounded we could give em, and you know I could pound em good. I guess you could say I was in the class with em, but I didn't exactly graduate... I've been wanten to get a shot at em ever sinse I left em high and dry a couple years back. Those wimps were always holden me back, tellin me ""Don't destroy this!"" and ""Don't destroy that!"". Sometimes you jus gotta let a man like me destroy thing ya know, all I got are meh bare hands. So anyhow, their in the past, and their about to be in the ground when I'm done with em. I can't wait to hear the details, lemme know when you get everyones attention "

With a huge grin on his face, Exodus walked toward to bar to find himself something new to drink

"Please, Rumamaru," after Exodus has finished, "show a little more respect to your equals. And I say that with the thought that I believe, had you two been forced to fight, it would be an even match... no matter what weapons you use and don't use..." Jack looked at Exodus again. "So, you never graduated?? It makes no difference to me, as long as you remember who a few of the people are... the main people I see as our primary concerns are, according to my spies, Amaya and her group of friends. It seems that, of this group, Amaya is the center jewel... oh, and her closest friend, it seems, by the time I got this information is Arrowdodger... quite average, but seing as he teaches in the building... and the fact that he has some useful spells in his arsenal..."

Jack stopped right there. He had his opinions on the Heroes of today, and compared to the Heroes of the distant past, these were nothing (Jack knew this firsthand). But there was something odd abotu Amaya and Arrowdodger that not even he could put his finger on...

"Well, welcome aboard, Exodus. You are about to help us plender the Guild of Heroes... and... I suppose that, you two being the strongest, I can trust you to explain my plan in detail... that is of course, if you don't mind." Jack put a tiny hint of sarcasm that was barely detectable in his voice.

"sure...so...arrowdodger is a teacher in the guild huh..." rumamaru suddenly without notice laughed and said "heh looks like either the guildmaster cracked or they are really that despreate and i mean despreate other than him that girl isent tht special unless your saying about looks... so...what is the plan?"

((I just noticed, us 3 are the only ones active in this rp.... that means only 4 characters (including Jack of Blades, since sdb won't claim him) can fight... this will be no fun unless we get the other people to join..))



"Fool. I never said he was a teacher. I just said he teaches there." His voice boomed out as he said this, giving the impression of anger, or impatience. Jack looked over to Exodus, who had just sat back down with his drink. Pretending he heard Exodus say he wanted to know what the plan was, he began. "You both have been Heroes at the Guild, am I correct?? I did not... mishear anything, did I?? No, I know... you do not need to say anything... since you were both there, you found that many treasures are hidden there. I happen to know what a certain one is... one that the Guildmaster himself will be guarding. It is this item that I've had my eye on for sometime, and its this item I will get a hold of tonight. This will, of course, be a slight problem, as there are Heroes there tonight because of the reunion. That is why I need you... you will not only prove yourselves loyal, but you'll be able to prove yourself to the World that you are legendary, living legends alongside the Jack of Blades... you will receive your share of treasure... and you will be able to kill as many as you can find, I assure you both," he said, glaring at them with his yellow eyes, sensing their bloodlust. "I do believe that is all. If you have any questions or comments, HOLD YOUR TONGUE, because I will not explain this again."

"Raaaaaagh! I'll tear through the walls of da guild like dey was tissue paper!" His confidence at it's peak, Exodus nearly shook the tavern with his warcry "Just say the word Jack, I'll be awaiten paitently ova there wit my drink and my women" *Another furious laugh*

"well looks like we got a live one here much less to say of the others that came but really is one of a more boring concept on killing pepole." said rumamaru as he took a drink and said to jack of blades. "oh and no matter if he's just teaching or is a real teacher at the guild arrowdodger is no more than a class clown that can only put up a shield witch is something he really has no skill at in that either so dont worry about it and that girl really the only thing that ever got anyones intrest was how she looked than anything so you should have nothing to worry about."

"Make sure you don't always lash your tongue out like that, Rumamaru. Someone just make rip it out for you... Because you appear to know nothing of the 2 fighters that you speak of. Arrowdodger is not legendary, but he is still skilled. How do you think he got the name 'Arrowdodger'? By taking some sort of gamble? No, he earned it by being able to dodge any kind of arrow, whether by magic or by skill. He is also average at swordsmanship, better than quite a few, and can be crafty.... if what you said was true, than he must have matured at a rate that some have not accomplished yet. And his friendship with the Amaya girl is because he feels the urge to protect her... but she doesn't exactly need protecting, as she is actuall quite a legend on her own. She could probably hold her own against me... and maybe more... but, then, that's why I'll have you two tonight, eh?" He boomed out in a demonic laughter, and stood up. "I suppose now is the time to go, wouldn't you say, Rumamaru?? Exodus??"

Volke glanced up. He had not been paying attention to the conversation. "Hey, I'm ready
when you are, I guess." Marlin said, "Maybe another time." and teleported out of the
room.

Amaya rushed over to Arrow, grabbing his shirt sleeve and pulling on it. "Arrow. It's true. They have been. They've been turning." Amaya said with a worried voice. "Jack of Blades is with them..."

to begin the raid, I suspect. Any and all other bad guys can join us

Volke thinks back to his days at the academy. I was such a petty thief.
I stole anything and everything. I was pretty good at it.
But I was merely mischevious back then. I'd usually give it back, but not
without some persuasion. I was (sorta) friends with most of the other
bad kids. I knew almost every one of my classmen, although they
might not recognise me now.

I'm older than most of them because when I got this electrified arm,
I sacrificed a few years of my youth. So, I doubt they will recognise me
right away.

...I'm thinking in monologue again. I really need to stop doing that.
Heheh.
