Main character is a girl named Lenneth Valkyrie (The girl in the first pic). Who is a goddess who serves under Lord Odin. Lenneth is sent to Midgard to gather up souls of fallen warriors to join in the battle of Ragnarok. She must then train these souls and send them to Valhalla to join in the great war. But there are many strange happenings that seem to involve Lenneth. What is her past? Why do people seem to recognize her?

Yea so basically you go around recruiting souls for a while till Ragnorok happens. It's more interesting than it sounds. You fight in a ton of awesome dungeons and the battle system kicks ass. It's not all that difficult except in a few parts. Like the optional bosses. They're about as tough as it gets. Especially Bloodbane. Damn that was hard. One hit K.O. on all my characters with one move. So I've beaten the game, but i've only gotten the B rank ending. I'm going for the A rank, which basically uncovers Lenneth's past or at least I think it does. There's about 12 CG cutscenes that look just beautiful. I've only seen 7, but since I'm going for the A rank ending I should see them all soon. The opening basically has all the cutscenes, but there's only music so you can't tell exactly what's happening. Though I think I'm getting the picture about what exactly happened to Lenneth. The game fails to really tell you how to fight that much, you just kinda learn on your own, but it really isn't all that hard to understand.

The battle system builds around the 4 buttons. Triangle, Circle, X, and Square. Each button is assigned to a character in your party. You press a button a character is assigned to and they'll attack. Depending on their weapon equiped, they'll get to attack multiple times, up to 3 times. Magic users work differently though. They'll attack with a spell, and there's a couple and they do a bunch of different things. If you press the button for a mage, they'll attack with the spell you've assigned to them in the abilities menu. But it'll only attack one enemy only. Or you can select a spell from the battle menu by pressing SELECT and use all the spells you've taught that character. Spells can vary to one person to all enemies. Comboing is very essential to the battle system. There's a bar on the left when you attack, it starts a chain. If you chain all your characters' attacks well enough, you may end up with 100 on the bar. At that point you can use a special attack that does insane damage and are unique and different for every character (Cept Mages). These special attacks range from A Meteor Shower to Summoning A Dragon.

I'd rate this game a 9.5 out of 10. It's for the PSP by the way.
