Ownership of solar systems on Freelancer Universe permits the owner to place Capital Ships and Transports at the bases and planets within the owned systems.
In UTM space rules freedom of trade. Any commodity is allowed to pass through our space. This also means that anything that acts hostile to trade ships within UTM space will be dealt with by UTM forces, with the only exception trade ships of hostiles. I had thought we owned Honshu, New Tokyo, Kyushu, Shikoku and Hokkaido.
Robocop says: "The November update of the UTM registry shows 13 members. This would make them eligible to own up to 5 systems (5+2+2+2+2). They currently show as owning New Tokyo, Shikoku, and Honshu. UTM has not updated their registry for almost 2 1/2 months. According to the rules they're supposed to provide a roster update every 30 days. Once they update their registry with current information we'll be better able to determine how many systems they're eligible to own and take it from there".
