Recognising the Wisdom of Allah

by Abu Abdullah Ibne Ismail

“Allah ta’ala makes us undergo difficulties and hardships for our own benefit. But because we have not gained the recognition of Allah, we are not able to comprehend this wisdom.

We can understand this concept by taking the example of a wife who understands her husband and knows him well.

Because of this recognition she has the full picture in her mind and thus she able to bear the few difficulties which will inevitably occur from her husband’s side (as a result of his personality, temperament etc).

The wife knows that these difficulties pale in comparison to the ease that her husband provides her with.

Likewise if we had the recognition of Allah ta’ala we would think that Allah has granted me so much, this is only one difficulty that Allah has sent.

(Not only that we would also realise that Allah ta’ala does not have any defects and thus the difficulty we are in stems from the wisdom of Allah and is designed) for the forgiveness of our sins”

Jazak Allahu khayran for sharing that website with us, i think you've posted it all over the forum now... maybe you can tell us about the guidance that you recieved from it, insha Allah it will inspire whoever reads it and we can discuss it further because just posting a link and leaving it at that seems a bit limited when we are able to share ideas and experiences with eachother which is the whole idea of a forum.

I'll be looking forward to reading from you and others insha Allah.
