Salaams,

QUOTE
emmm people what's going on here? Jannat, i'm curious to know what on earth you said about akhi to that girl and akhi i would love to know what happened with the girl, maybe i can help? but it sounds all kinda personal, don't you two want to settle this offline?

There's nothing to settle and you couldn't do anything for me, the girl turned me down after we made plans to get married all cause of my little cousin, she just had to tell her some private stuff. If i told you what it is, you wouldn't believe it anyway. It's embaressing. Maybe she'll come back to me one day, i can only hope. If she does, Jannat is not coming near her, i'll make sure of that!

you've been hearing things about me ? lol

My brother once stole my shoes when we were at tuition back in the days... I had to run all the way home on those stony, dirty and undeveloped roads in pakistan... for some reason i had a bike but i didnt use that hmm... i was weird back then ^^

Been reading your posts, you sound like a smart mature brother, mashallah! Sorry about the shoe thing man. Did you do anything that made him do that? wink.gif

I just had good and wise people to teach me smile.gif

No I cant remember anything I did that made him do that...I think maybe we had a fight but not sure.. its all fady anyway

You know maybe that thing that happened with the girl you mention, maybe that was a good thing. I mean you don't necessarily know what is good and what isn't for you. Like once someone told me, which apparently is a true story, that a couple were trying for a baby but couldn't have one for some reason. Quite some time passed and then they asked someone who was going for hajj to specifically pray for them that they may have a child. When this guy returned he heard that the couple were expecting and when the baby was born the mother passed away.

So like two messages in that story. We don't exactly know what's good for us. And we shouldn't really pray or ask for specific things that we 'want' but rather ask Allah (SWT) for what is best for us in our duas. smile.gif

"Do not remember people for it will only sadden the heart. remember Allah and he will put peace in to your heart"

Al-Tirmidhi HadithHadith 406 Narrated byAbuDharr

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: I see that which you do not. The Heaven cries (on account of the heavy load of the angels prostrating) and is justified in doing so. There is not a space equal to four fingers in it but is occupied by angels who are prostrating before Allah. By Allah, if you could know what I know, you would laugh little and weep much; you would not enjoy your wives , and would rush into streets and jungles in search of Allah's refuge.
