The frown deepend when he saw the grin spread on to Kuri's face. He didn't give his name, but instead continued glaring at the other teenager. He didn't like the way Kuri spoke to him, but there was nothing he could do about it for the moment.

Kuri's next comment ticked a nerve in Kyoshi's mind. "WHO ARE YOU CALLING SHORT?!" he hollered loudly, not caring that he was creating a ruckus. He took a few breathes and continued glaring at Kuri. "Besides, I hate milk," he snapped irritably.

When Kuri reached out to take the note, Kyoshi was half-tempted to snatch his hand back and run off, leaving Kuri to look like an idiot. But, instead, he went ahead and let Kuri take the note, curious as to what the phantom murderer wanted with the other person. Kuri seemed normal enough.

Amusement was still all over Kuri's face when he took the paper. He turned a little, enough to not face Kyoshi, and opened the folded paper. He scanned down what was written on it, before putting a hand to his chin thoughtfully.

"A riddle...this one is where Mizuki is then?" he murmured to himself, tapping on the top one. "Time for operation save-maiden-from-kidnap then. I would prefer to go on a bomb-deactivating job though, maybe I can get to try something on that guy." He was speaking to himself, as if Kyoshi was not there. But he was well aware though, as he fished a coin from his pocket and tossed it to Kyoshi.

"It's a tip, be glad you're getting one because I'm still lacking money. Thanks for the message."

Kyoshi tried in vain to see what was written on the paper, not trying to make his attempt to see noticable. He almost sighed in defeat when he could see nothing, but was glad when Kuri started talking to himself. Kyoshi listened, gathering that there were bombs, a kidnapping, and riddles involved. He grimaced, knowing that this wasn't just some small terrorist movement. It was bigger than that.

He released himself from his thoughts when Kuri tossed him a coin. He caught it and tossed it back, a cross look on his face. "I don't need money. Keep it," he muttered, crossing his arms.

Kyoshi nodded towards the paper. "So, I take it that note was about something big. I want in," he said in a demanding voice. He had delivered the message, right? Now he could do whatever he wanted, and that included coming along to find out whatever Kuri and A were trying to stop.

Kuri caught his coin again and stuffed it back in his pocket. "Good, that saves me a chocolate bar then. Hm?"

Once more, Kuri sized Kyoshi up after he had made the request. His brows creased, putting a hand on his chin.

"Well, I'm not sure if you can---it's not the problem of your size, of course. A has most of the information now, so I'm not sure why my friend---not exactly friend, but...nevermind---was kidnapped and what the bomb is for. I think the bomb would be well taken care of though. So unless you know who Mizuki Shera is, I don't think I'll let you in on this. But after I save that girl, I'm going to catch A and dig out every information from him!" He balled his hand to a fist, eyes shining with triumph. He was talking to himself again on the last statement.

"So what if I don't know her?! I want to help," Kyoshi said, frowning. His curiosity and hunger for a bit of danger was clouding his mind, causing him to be a bit rash.

"Besides, doesn't this have to do with the entire city? Not just that girl?" he questioned. He crossed his arms and continued frowning at Kuri. He ignored the way that the other teenager seemed to talk to himself, but he was still annoying.

Kyoshi thought the situation over a few times, finally deciding that even if Kuri didn't agree to let him go, he would tag along behind him.

Kuri mused over Kyoshi for a few more seconds, as if trying to make a decision. It did not take him long to make it though.

"All right!" he said cheerfully, patting Kyoshi on the shoulder. "I've always wanted an assistant, makes my job a lot more easier! A would not have seen this coming! It would be like Batman and Robin! Or Holmes and Watson! Or other pairings, if they have short people for one! Nonetheless, I've got an assistant!"

Kyoshi almost broke a triumphant grin when Kuri stated that he was allowed to come. His smile faded and cracked as soon as Kuri continued on about "short assistants". He frowned.

"LAY OFF THE SHORT COMMENTS," Kyoshi snapped, his hand slipping into his pocket. His fingers met with the gun he had stashed there and he resisted the urge to pull it out just yet. He would save it for an appropirate time, since he was limited on ammunition.

Forcibly, he pushed down his irritation and looked up at Kuri. "You lead, I guess. You know what A wants anyways," he muttered.
