don't get me wrong... they are damn good in a fight.
they are some of the quickest people I've come across and very loyal when you've made a friend. and they probably know their lands very well. which could save you some time in getting where you need to go.

yes they are! with the drow doing what they are. we need as many allies we can get.. yes I've heard the rumors about this war. and I'm assuming that's why your headed to your destination.

the drow tend to raid during the evenings. those that they can't capture they simply kill. those that they capture are either put in slave camps or sacrificed. or at least that's what I hear.

the women are for the most part the leaders... that is their clerics. and it's not just the majority either... they do the same thing to the humanoids as well.

That's...interesting. So is it a matriarchal society as a whole or just for the raiding parties?

From what I understand they worship a goddess named Lolth. So yes it's matriarchal society.
