Welcome one and all. Write With Flair is a board designed as a place for writers to meet and talk. There are many things we aren't -

*We are not trying to reach a huge audience. We like being a small community where everyone can get individual attention.

*We don't specialize in critiquing work, though we will give you comments if you wish.

*We don't run regular contests, although you will find the occasional challenge or writing prompt.

*We don't claim to be a resource site, but all together we do have a fair amount of useful knowledge about writing.

On the other hand, we do have a few things to offer -

*We are a supportive and caring community, and will offer all the encouragement we can, both in your writng and your life.

*We sponser interactive fiction of all kinds.

*We have forums where you can post work that you would like to show us - fiction, poetry, Nonfiction articles, and Reviews of books, tv, movies and music.

*We have several resident 'experts' in various subjects who will help you with research.

*We have cool rankings as your post count progresses (with apologies to all the old members who lost their rankings in the move!)

*We play games! When the writing gets tough, you can always come here and take a break!

*You can keep a mini-blog where you can discuss your life, your opinions or anything else that you are interested in.

*Stuck on a particular passage? Suffering from writer's block? Talk about your writing! Or just plain talk! If something is really bugging you, then by all means, Rant!

*We have a few clubs - right now it's just cooking and diet, but you can always add something you are interested in!

*On the very top left, you will see Guidelines. These are a few rules for the board.

*Next to Guidelines, you will find Portal, which gives you all of the recent announcements, personal message, navigation, online users and recent discussions.

*A little below that, on the left side across from your user name is My Control Panel: This lists all your personal statistics, but the cool thing is the Notepad, where you can leave yourself notes. Awesome, huh?

*Next is View New Posts - A quick way to see what's happened since you last visited.

*My Assistant shows you things like: The moderating team

· Overall top 10 posters
· My last 10 posts
(You can also find these stats at the bottom of the board.

*Birthdays - enter your birthday in your profile, and the board will automatically remind us ahead of time - you know, so we can plan a party.

One very important thing to note - we do not like inflated member lists, so we prune regularly. Anyone who has not posted in 60 days is deleted. Still, obviously, if a member lets us know they will be unavailable for several months, we will hold their membership.
