I think they're both fantastic. What medium are you using? Anyway, I love the Conor one a bit more. The one of PJ (which I still like)...are those her arms going up to her face? Cuz if so they could use a little more definition, at least that's my opinion. They're really cool, though. I'll be posting some of my photos (none of that digital shit for me though) and you guys can critique them. I'm gonna add you as a mod for this section cuz you're obviously a perfect fit! smile.gif

^ Great work shadowland! Simple but really effective and cool. And that's a great lyric. smile.gif

Aww thanks Tima! yahoo.gif

Yeah, those are her arms. Thanks for the idea - I'll definitely experiment with that. biggrin.gif Can't wait to see your art!

Okay, here're some of my photos. My scanner is being a byotch right now, so they're taken on my digital camera (blah)...but I'll scan 'em tomorrow and replace these gangly photos. It sucks cuz you guys can't see what they really look like, so you can recritique when I get around to posting the actual images. But you get the gist of it. (And in case you can't tell, I do mostly portaits)

I love color, I'm just not good with it yet. Need a lot of practice blink.gif Anyway, I like it...but if you ever have the chance to take a class at like a local community college or something, they only meet like once a week and the darkroom is sooooo theraputic.

Wow! Lizzy, Tima, great photos! smile.gif I want to get into black and white photography, but I don't think I've quite worked out what lighting is best for those photos. Would higher contrast look better?
