i'm kinda shocked that they are taking such a long break but they deserve it. it saddens me
 that once again i did not get to see them in concert. i do hope to hear some solo projects from any of them during 2010  just wanted to know how the rest of you friends are taking it  |

I'm not taking it well. I was pretty shocked when I heard it. I can't say that it's not scaring me into worrying that they're "break" will be more permanent than they let on. They're all older, at the point where most people start to settle down a bit with families and what have you. Let's hope they at least keep making music, even if they don't tour as much.
In a more positive light, maybe it's just what they say. Maybe the break will be good and help the creative juices flow when they get back together. |

I was crushed when I first read it. It's such a bad feeling to have never been able to see them, and now they say this. Not good at all. But they do deserve a break. I just hope it will only last a year. I need to see them live at least once!
I'm interested in their other projects though. Whatever happens, let us hope it's for the best  |

I'm sad and slightly annoyed. 2010 is the year I finally turn 18, and would be able to go see them properly =(
I really hope they do reconvene in 2011  But they deserve a break! It is probably for the best. |
