Mido's House
Site [Urban, Constructed]
Mido's house is the offical centre of the Kokiri Village, serving as an official audience room as well as a residence for the self-appointed sheriff. Newcomers are usually directed here when they first arrive, where Mido and Saria can normally be found doing their 'official duties' as needed.

Location
Mido's house is located near to the entrance to the Kokiri Village, and is usually the building newcomers get to see first upon arrival. During slow days, either Mido or Saria can spot outsiders entering the village, and do not hesitate to approach them to discover their intent. During busier times, other Kokiri will point outsiders to this building if they are approached for information (DC 10 Diplomacy or Gather Information skill check). Characters can easily sneak around the building to hide their arrival (DC 20 Hide skill check, or either Mido or Saria's Spot skill check result if they are watching), although if they wish to do so without seeming suspicious to bystanders, they must also pass a DC 15 Bluff skill check.

Exterior Appearance
The outside of Mido's home is a large tree that is about 8 squares high, and is topped by a single big leaf. There are no windows in the tree, and the doorway consists of an opening that 2 squares wide at the base of the tree. The tree can be climbed on a successful DC 18 Climb skill check.

Interior Appearance
The interior of Mido's home consists of a large circular chamber 12 squares in diameter. A long red carpet leads from the door to the base of tree stump that serves as a stage. It is from here that Mido or Saria make announcements to the rest of the inhabitants of the Kokiri Village in times of need. Along the left side of the room there is a table with two stumps serving as seats at each end. Mido is typically found at the end nearest the stage watching the open door when not otherwise occupied, while Saria is the most common occupier of the other seat, watching the proceedings. On the opposite side of the room, there is a small round table, and a small bed tucked in between which Mido uses at night. There is a pot tucked down next to the bed, and two more larger pots occupy the room either side of the carpet nearer the door. There are two sturdy chests either side the carpet in the middle of the room, and two more either side of the carpet nearer the stump-like stage.

Features
Stage: The stage covers a 4x4 square area opposite the doorway, shaped like a tree stump. Steps either side of the stage lead up to the raised area. Anybody on the raised area or stairs gains a +1 circumstance bonus to melee attacks against opponents in the lower areas. The sides of the stage itself are sloped, and count as difficult terrain for anyone moving through them.
Tables and Beds: The two tables and the bed are half a square high, and anyone standing on them gain a +1 circumstance bonus to melee attacks against lower opponents. The large table cannot be move, but the bed and the smaller round tabel can be tipped over to provide partial cover with a DC 15 Strength check.
Chairs: The two chairs cannot be moved, and counts as difficult terrain for anyone moving through them.
Pots: These large pots are large and heavy. They can be lifted and moved with a DC 15 Strength check, and anyone who beats this check by 5 or more can throw the pot as a two-handed improvised throwing weapon with range increment of 1 square, and a maximum range of 1 square for every five points they beat the DC. The pots scatter if they miss when thrown, and cause 2d6 bludgeoning and piercing damage on a successful hit, and the target must make a Fortitude save (DC 10 + half damage + attackers Strength modifier) or fall prone. The pots shatter after one throw, or can be destroyed normally.
Chests: These small wooden chests are locked (Open Locks DC 25) and Mido holds their only keys. They can be lifted and thrown as a two-handed improvised throwing weapon with a range increment of 1 square, that causes 1d6 bludgeoning damage. No damage is caused by throwing the chests, but their contents may be damaged if fragile.

History
Mido has converted this building into an audience chamber and meeting room since taking up the self-appointed role of sheriff in the Kokiri Village. Although it fell into disuse since the time of the Great Fall, Mido was quick to restore it to it's previous status upon returning to their lost "homeland" in the Kingdom of Hyrule.
