Having noted that this subforum seems to have ossified a bit, I decided to start digging through my archives to make a contribution and perhaps revive it a tad. I don't write much in the way of fanfiction, but I have encountered some fairly good stories in the past. This thread should serve as a repository for links to fairly high-quality and enjoyable (in the eyes of the contributors) fanfics located off of these boards.
To start with:

Title: Wizzrobe
Author: Andrew Vant
http://www.rpgamer.com/games/zelda/z1/fanfics/wizzrobe.html

This story is a very interesting take on a dungeon in Zelda 1 through the eyes of one of the enemies. I highly recommend it, and will say little else about it so as not to spoil its impact.

Title: Zelda 3: Cycle of the Triforce
Author: Magus523

A finished novelization of ALttP. Many interesting original elaborations on aspects of the Dark World make the later chapters even better than the earlier. (in my opinion)

Title: The Golden Power

An action-adventure set after Twilight Princess. Inorporates enough orignial ideas and themes to diverge from what one would expect by default of an LoZ adventure with Link as the protagonist, but is still recognizable. Little romance thus far (a positive from my perspective). Major draws include detailed and believable world and characters, well-written battles, and Link with a believable personality that fits in with his actions during the game, but doesn't leave him as a bland doormat.

Title: Reflections
Author: Uncle Pervy

A fun "What If" story from Ganondorf's point of view presumably set after all the Zelda games. Distorts the facts of some of the games to portray Ganondorf in a more sympathetic light, but provides a very interesting take on the Zelda mythos. Also, the ending should be quite enjoyable for those who feel that Link's personality should be fairly close to that of his humorous portrayals. A sequel exists, but I do not recommend it.

Glad you like it, I'll be sure to post anything similar (and worth reading in my opinion) I find.

Fairly fun non-canonical (I'm reasonably sure) LoZ manga translated to english.

I located a site with a wider selection of the above.

LoZ fan games:

The Fallen Sage was interesting, but buggy and unintuitive in a few places. It was also a little difficult tracking down all the files. I had quite a bit of fun until I hit a dead end I couldn't find a way around.
