Thanks Jo!!
Time has gone so fast Shelley! Cole has started to go to daycare for the socializing. Being around only adults all the time it will take him a bit to figure out how to play with the others. Was there for about two hours today. They are starting out with short stays to get him used to it. He is so out going (loves everyone) he will be fine. Some little boy had a melt down today & Cole went over & gave him a hug. I missed that...his Mom told me about it. Think he'll just go there on Tues & Thurs.
His sister, Emma, is growing like a weed too. She's just starting with the spoon stuff. I got some cereal in her today. She likes to blow so that makes it interesting!!

The being with other children will be good for Cole...I was around adults and it was so hard for me by first grade to adjust to being with others my age!
How much cereal were you wearing today? -cks-

Jo,
Yes, it is good for him. He is also really bored at home. Still a bit young to just sit down & entertain himself so gets into mischief. I'm getting a play kitchen for him for Christmas, but will give it to him when it arrives in a few days (assembly will be fun). Anyway he likes to watch people cook & is always telling us "Cook"! Just like a man! Emma should enjoy it too when she gets older.
http://www.step2.com/product.cfm?product_id=1218 I can't wait to play with it. Can't believe the stuff they have for kids these days.
We are lucky that little Emma doesn't have a big wind in her! Most of went on the bib! This girl smiles all the time, just like her mama! Makes caring for her so much easier.

This will be fun for any child! And from the reviews it should last through Cole and Emma...and then some!

The pumpkin was HUGE! Cole looks totally adorable sat there with it. I hope he had a really fabulous Halloween.
As for the kitchen, WOW! That is the sort of thing I wanted for my daughter but we had no where to put it! She loved them when she went to toddler groups and day care nursery etc. I am sure your grandchildren will have years of fun with it and create many happy memories.
