Title: Fell this morning...
NJO - November 13, 2010 05:32 PM (GMT)
I got up to go to the bathroom at 3:00 AM and promptly tripped on my pajama leg and fell before I know what was happening. Feel onto my left side and it really shook my neck as I caught with my right hand I guess out of instinct to protect my head. I had a red knee cap so I immediately used the Arnica gel on it and my neck. It is bruised but probably not as badly as it would have been without the gel. It does help soreness and bruising. Good product!
I fell onto hardwood, so, I am happy I didn't break anything. ^db^
So, the moral of this story: watch for long , lose pant legs!

How scary - it could have been awful, Jo. I get too warm under the covers so I never wear the bottoms!

Sorry to hear you fell Jo. Must be something going around! The feeling of going down & not being able to do anything about it is awful. Glad you didn't break anything. Those floors are hard!! Hope there is no long lasting pain. (grh)

I am getting more stiffness as the day advances! It happened so fast...even woke Doyle and he has poor hearing...

Sorry to hear you fell Miss Jo! Glad you got the arnica on there as quickly as you did. Getting it on there fast really makes a big difference! Have you been putting it on throughout the day? I usually put it on about 3 times spread out through the day. You must have pretty good bone density to have fallen on a hard floor and not broken anything....that's good news too.
Hey Wanda....how is your bruise?
No more falling people...we've had enough now!! :P
NJO - November 13, 2010 10:15 PM (GMT)
Shelley I keep holding onto the thought that maybe this means my bones are okay!
I am not putting the arnica on enough...I will go rub some on right now! Thanks for reminding me.
Wanda - November 13, 2010 11:41 PM (GMT)
I am in pain...can't sit up straight or stand up straight for more than a couple minutes. I lean forward! At least nothing broke & I landed very hard.

(grh) Wanda, I hope this pain improves soon...your fall was harder than mine I'm sure. I am glad nothing was broken but you are probably really bruised and shaken as well.
Kimberly - November 15, 2010 12:23 AM (GMT)
Jo, sorry about your fall. That is easy to do in the middle of the night. Hope you are feeling better. (grh)
Wanda, try to get some rest with your back. Hope the pain starts to lessen. (grh)
