Today was the day Vegas was going to have fun. No matter what. She was too stubborn to give up, the morning started off okay. Bright and surprisingly happy. She pulled on her tight jeans, buttoning them. She pulled on her small hoodie and placed her wand in the one pocket on the belly. She ran down the stairs, watching her converse hit each step. She had a good feeling about today. She knew something good was going to happen. She could literally feel it in her being, as weird as that sounds. She could.
The summer was still fresh in her mind, fun in the sun and water of the beaches. Her trip to the United States was the most amazing week of her summer. Sand in between her toes, wind in her hair, she could feel it now. The waves carrying her up and down in a rhythm that seemed to be following the beat of her heart. Of course she missed her brother and sisters, that was a given, but it was nice to have a week off from the busy clatter of the full house.
She headed up the stairs to the main floor, grabbing a bagel and making short conversations with friends. She was a great multitasker, amazing performer in a short amount of time. She smiled and excused herself, tired of the fake conversations with fake friends. She hated how some of the people in her house seemed so fake, she had few friends in that house. Most of them were in Ravenclaw, trying hard to find success and actually finding it at an early age. Vegas loved herself and showed it in the way she acted daily. She was neat and organized, just like her mother. But there was part of her that was just like her father, wild and crazy. That's why she had organized chaos, just a bit of mess. A part of her wished to find that person who could sort of stop her organization and show her to live her life without being so, organized.
Vee sighed and threw the rest of her bagel at the trees. She whipped her hands on her jeans, biting her lip. The seventeen year old girl made her way towards the lake, loving the spot for it's divine beauty. It never seemed to stop amazing her, the air was light and the sun was covered by a few clouds. The perfect day. She smiled and put her hands in her pockets, letting her head face the sky as she inhaled with her entire body. Eyes closed, perfectly still. She had no clue that there was someone watching her every move, she bit her lip, sighing contently. This moment was amazing. Perfect. Completely beautiful.
