Hello, I was co-admin at the old boards.

My nick is Bhryn, and my actual name is... Nic... which, vaguely worries me now I think about it... :unsure:

I'm 23 years old, living in the good old, breezy, rainy England. I'm a fully qualified, professional Illustrator (Hons) and also have a degree in English. I'm a published poet, several times, and I own several writing series' as well as my own online comic and webshop which I will get around to expanding when I find time. I'm currently under heavy commission from a close friend who is developing a tabletop game called RandomViolence. Luck being with me, I'll have it all finished in a couple of weeks :)

Otherwise, I spend most of my time with video games or friends :lol: because I really enjoy spending time with both!

...as for Bhryn, well... she's an interesting case if nothing else?

Online handle on most sites, clearly, is Tharivious. Yes, the character dropped the last name as well, so it's a one-name basis now. Like Cher... err, not quite like Cher, but you get the point. <_<

Offline, I am known as Brandon. I am 21 (nearly 22 now, scary thought) and live in the frigid wastelands of northern New York state. I am a freelance artist and author, slowly working my way toward the big time by taking on small commissions for tattoo designs as of late. I spend way too much time giving myself new projects, and wind up looking like a scatterbrain when I try to complete them all simultaneously. Although, a creative slump struck me last summer, but things change.

And this has only become more hectic since last October, when I was reunited with my very large extended family for the first time in nine years, and have now become a weekly regular visitor at my aunt's and stepsister's homes. I went from being a reclusive eccentric to being a compulsive walker who treads an average of 15 miles each week to visit family and my deceased stepsister's and my late grandfather's graves.

As a result of all this, I'm a much changed man. Admittedly, I once carried a lot of bitterness that perhaps excascerbated the conflict between Icefall and a certain other site, but the events of the last few months has made me see things much differently. I feel as though I am better for what I have seen in recent months. Getting the full view of my family from more angles has shown me what really matters, and given me such a feeling of purpose that I have never experienced before.

Along with this newfound purpose has been a renewed sense of creative drive. There's something inspiring about renewing bonds that went dormant for nine years, and I've been on a writing spree ever since, as mentioned on the old boards.

I presently have one complete novel under my belt, and a contact in the publishing industry to get in touch with. With a bit of luck, I may soon be in print. I have a total of eight (yes, eight!) d20 game supplements in the works, seven of which are dedicated solely to the Veghinix campaign setting that has been my pet project for at least three years now. I have revised all d20 spellcasting systems, familiar creation systems, and base classes, and have begun work on a setting module that will make the Book of Vile Darkness look like a children's cartoon.

"Work" and seriousness aside, I have also recently discovered the joys of getting absolutely drunk. St. Patrick's Day was a lesson in alcohol, lined with beer, beer, more beer, the wondrous Irish Carbomb (with three different shots loaded in each one), my good personal friend Jack Daniels and his twin brothers, and of course more beer. All of which was followed by a very sobering 6 mile walk in the frosty 4 am air.

As for having friends, I'm working on that again. No more reclusive days like the way I lived when I was 320 pounds. I'm a lean, mean, socializing machine now, which is why I've been so absent from... nearly everything online for so long. Trying to find that balance again now, and it seems to be working out.

Perhaps this is a good reminder that I can be a long-winded blowhard, eh? I'll put an end to this post, before I turn it into a full chapter of my autobiography. :ph43r:

I'm 26 years old, I currently am jobless which is a good thing because I'm pregnant with child number three and this one seems to like to see how sick it can make mommy every day. Married with two little one, joys of my life really ;) Been sneaking around differnt RP's as Ruthia since '01. Lots know Ruthia, or know of her. If you don't know Ruthia by now....stick around and watch out, cause she can be trouble!
