I was about to KILL Joss when Wash died... seriously, 2nd character, and WASH. But what REALLY didn't sit well with me after the movie was over (I came to terms w/ Wash dying slowly) was Zoe's reaction. I mean, she is a soldier, and that whole 'get back on the line' should work to a soldier as good as she is (she had to have developed that to survive the war like she did), but I thought that there were only two people in her life she really cared about: Mal and Wash. And with one gone, I think the ONLY person who should have been able to give her that command, and have he obey, was Mal. Having Jayne be the one wattered down her character to some degree to me. Though from a plot standpoint I can't complain because I don't think I could have stood losing another character (And I was thinking that a lot more were going during that final sequence, let me tell you); and after the little bit from Heart of Gold, I'm holding out hope that she's pregnant as well...
