EDIT: For the new posters:
Loserz updates on an irregular basis due to the artist's fairly busy schedule. However, it is a comic still in operation, and is still updated. The reason for the current comic having a date several months before this date is not because he has not updated since 4 months ago, but because he prefers to keep the update dates as if he were updating it every Monday, Wednesday and Friday as he aims to do. Please do not post topics in regards to when the comic will update as 1) this topic has been covered here, and 2) it is not for us to say when exactly Erik will update the comic.

Thanks.

Dear All,

Perhaps it would be advisable to create a "sticky" topic in this forum (and possibly the Latest Strip Discussion) which addresses the issue of the update schedule of this comic, which I note appears to be a very frequent cause of both new posters' concerns and their subsequent flaming in these forums (usually the cause of much frustration and anger). A permanent explanation which both explains the erratic updates and the reasons for the back-dated strips would suffice, and significantly reduce the amount of tension which this topic appears to promote within the members of this forum.

I would be most obliged if you could consider this matter, as to the unacquainted, the explanation is not self-explanatory, and to the all-too-well acquainted, this appears to be perhaps "whiny", "stupid" and "unnecessary".

Much thanks in advance.

Yours,
Deutschy, reconciler most Germane.

Good idea in theory, but if five threads a page won't help noobs figure out that they shouldn't post about the comic dates, a sticky probably won't do it either.

Dear All,

What I mean to say, perhaps, is that we could, as they say, "give it a go" and see what happens. It may work, it may not. Nothing lost, at the end of the day if it does not, there is only potentially something to gain by trying.

Pretty sure "flaming" is the operative clause or whatever in that sentence. So it should be "flaming the noobs is fun". happy.gif

Personally I'm no fan of flaming. It tends to breed hatred and frustration. I vote for sticky.

Yeah, why should we care how the noobs feel about coming here? It's not like they're real people right.

As a side note I'm used to alway imitate the New Zealand accent on those "Mainland Cheese" commercials.

Are you a kiwi BTW?

Dear All,

Yes, I have indeed made my abode in the lands of "New Zealand" for 7 years in the past. I currently live in the Antipodean Kingdom of Australia and are thus exposed to such things as the Mainland cheese advertisement. How about yourself?

To whoever this concerns: thank you muchly for this "sticky" topic. I have added an explanation in my first posts (which is hopefully correct) about the update schedule.

Yours,
Deutschy, who "got rhythm"

Anyone else hate that he begins his posts with "Dear All"?

It's way to formal for a place where the majority of conversations revolv around cursing at each other and boobies.
