Eh, I didn't idle, but I do think it was retarded of steam to just take away everyone's hat, even those who only idled once, decided it was dumb and gained the rest of their items legitimately. I mean, it's not like it actually had any sort of effect on gameplay, and it was basically just a big middle finger at them. I can understand giving halos to those who didn't idle, but arbitrarily taking items from those who may or may not have gotten items through idling when they really had no official policy is really quit petty of them.
