question for anyone who knows the answer

does r.o water cause algae i have been getting quite alot of it in tank no the thick green stuff like a brown sort of color if not what could be the cause of this ????

Silly as it may seem, lets just say if you are using some form of Tetra food, you may well be plagued by algae.......................there is a high quantity of phosphate in it which passes out of your fish as algae food...............
If you aren't let me know there are many causes of algae, lighting, nitrate levels etc. but food is a good starting point as there should be no algae or food for it in R O water

I AM USING TETRA FOOD 2 TWICE A DAY PLUS OTHER FOODS AT DIFFERENT TIMES OF THE DAY .
