Title: White spot or pimple
chinaman - June 1, 2006 08:01 AM (GMT)
Hi
I brought a wild heckle that had a few White spots or pimples on each side. It seems to be coming out from the body rather than growing on the body. It had some very small blister the size of the spot or pimple, which has healed. Does anyone know the type of spots or pimple that I am talking about? If so, can someone shed some light on how to get rid of it?
thanks

Hi Jim,
If it was perhaps a 5" or slightly smaller heckel, its like pubity spots is the best way to describe them, like little boils along or just above or below the lateral line, they are best treated with a course on interpet no9/anti ulcer,

I've had the same thing on a Blue diamond G. Its just hit the 5" mark and white pimples appeared every few days.
Does that mean my fish are going to have mood swings and become tearaways since they've hit puberty?

That's about it Willie,
And they want to start breeding, the old hormones cause all these problems.......

Jim,
I was selling 6-7000 discus per month at one stage, and it was a fast learning curve, either learn and cure or lose discus!!!!!
Oh and my background in marine biology helped,

Hope the heckel is a male Jim, or you may be having more female on female action about to happen...................................................
The results are nice though from heckel and leopard,
Cheers G
