how long does it normally take unfertilized eggs to turn white?

Jim, Depending on your water, unfertilised eggs don't always go white, at above about 350mv ORP they can stay the original colour for over a week, they just don't "eye up"................................ In lower quality water the white colour can happen after a few hours, it's not a problem as long as they don't fungus up, Cheers G -------------------- |
