"Crazy is the only adjective you could come up with? I know you, Sean, and your plans usually fall into the 'deranged, maniacal, nonsensical' category." He smiled. Yes they were bound to get in trouble if the guards had the opposite reaction. Which was possible if the were really weird.

"You know me to well." he said and ran a hand threw his hair it was still wet. "I don't know about women guards but men and men guards are totally oblivious to well, helping you or any women with their female problems." he said. No he was not being perverted.

"Now before you slap me," he said taking a small step back from her. "Just listen." he finished. "If you were to be complaining about cramps, and then descriptively describe the pain that you are going threw, i could vouch for you and say that i will take you to the nurse, Where if they were to go, they would have to go and possible buy tampons" He had a discussed look on he face, "pads," He cringed. "And other strange things that you women have that totally and completely gross us out." he said rather quickly.

"It is a fool proof plan." he added and smiled,. Yes sometimes he even impressed himself. “And you forgot the words, cuckoo, erratic, and totally original to your description of my brilliant plans.”

She laughed, it would probably work, she knew. And it was definitely better than her plan, which would require either a parachute or a complicated system of pulleys with which to lower themselves to the ground.

"You know, Sean," she said, sneaking a peek around the corner, "you really do amaze me: you are one of the most powerful people in the country - perhaps the world - and still you think like a teenage boy." She shook her head, "I love it."

She stood upright, intent on setting the plan into motion, and so she did, hoping that Sean would clue himself in and follow her over to the guard. '...and then descriptively describe the pain that you are going through...' and that she did. Much to the displeasure of her barely eighteen year old guard. "And Sean," she finished, "a member of my father's council has kindly agreed to escort me downstairs and across the street." She looked at Sean, and then back at the guard, who moved quite rapidly away from the elevator doors, ushering them in. He seemed to give Sean a sympathetic look.

Inside the elevator, doors closed, she turned to Sean, "One down."

"And Sean," she said "a member of my father's council has kindly agreed to escort me downstairs and across the street." The guard had paled and looked like he might throw up. Sean had a hard time keeping his normal composer. The guard looked at him with respect and pity in his young eyes. And stepped aside. As soon as the doors shut Sean knew that the second guard would be easy. But would not be easy was hearing the story again.

"One down." she said. Sean smiled and rubbed his face trying to regain his color.

"You didn't have to be that descriptive." he said and looked at her. "But it looks like we still have it Miss Burr." he said and laughed. The difference between this time and any other time if her father found out then it would be Sean's parents that got the blunt end of the deal it would be Sean.

The elevator doors opened and he let Natalie out first. Time to here that story all over again. Yes! just his luck. He should have thought about that before he suggest the plan.

Natalie approached one of the guards, he looked curious. His communication device buzzed, and while Natalie couldn't hear what the voice on the other end was saying, she could tell by the way the guard looked up at her that it had something to do with the occurences upstairs. He finished speaking into the device and turned to her, they both moved to speak at the same time.

"Captain Riley has informed me that I am to allow you to pass, along with Monsieur Aufrührer, without question." He told her, and while she knew he'd follow his orders there was no doubt that he questioned why. She laughed inwardly, at least this would save her the explanation.

"Merci, Lieutenant." She replied, looking at the medals on his chest. She smiled gratefully and moved to walk away marveling at how Sean's childishness had indeed helped them.

"Well, well," she said as they walked across the street, "look who's gotten to be quite the manipulative young gentleman."

"And look who is at my side, a very insidious women." he said as the entered the first restaurant. He had his wallet in his back pocket. In it a credit card. He could pay for lunch like he said. "Two please." he said smiling at the waitress that out aged the two by at least thirty years.
